Hello ROI!
I've been poking around the web for the last few weeks and have bumped into this forum quite a bit when looking for quality information on growing everybody's favorite herb.
I will try to keep you guys updated on the progress of my grow, this is a first time for me. There will definitely be a lot for me to learn throughout this, so I am going into this with my eyes wide open.
Here is my current setup(more lights to come soon):
2 x 42 watt 2.7k fluorescent lights.
1 150 watt iridescent light.
My grow space is a 42 cubic foot closet that is approx 5ft x 2 ft wide and 6 ft tall, however due to an overhead shelf, its realistically only about 4.5-5 ft tall. I have covered the walls with a reflective insulation I got at the Home Depot. Also, right now it has absolutely no ventilation, and this will definitely be an issue to come, I have been brainstorming ways to fix this, but have yet to come up with any good ideas.
and strains(en-route from attitude now, should be arriving in a day or two)
2 seedlings sprouted from a bag of blueberry kush i got a while back.
a 5 pack of fem. super lemon haze, of which I will plant 2.
1 seed of Sensi Star
1 seed of Bubblegum
1 other freebie seed from the attitude.
I really wanted to give the super lemon haze a go as my first grow, I am definitely a head high kind of guy and every review I've read has been pretty stellar. The Sensi and bubblegum were just extra's I threw in there to give a try(hopefully they germ, as I only grabbed 1 seed each).
I will post pictures of my setup soon. The bagseed is on day 4 of it's life right now and one of the sproutlings appears to be very healthy, while the other one looks like she's struggling to make it, time will tell I suppose.
I'm glad to join this community, you guys all seem very friendly and knowledgable about something that should have been legal all along. Can't wait to start this ride!
