hello everyone on RIU!

i've spent a lot of time lurking the forums, soaking up everything I need to know for my grow. now i've decide to be brave and post.

i have 3 bag seeds from various good bud i've come across. i've started a collection now. lol i germinated the seeds using damp paper towels in a ziplock bag, all three came out great but were done a couple weeks apart from each other.

i started veg with 2 24w (100 eq.)cfl on 24/0 around 6/18/09

added more lights as the grew(slow as it seemed for a point)

now into the 4th week of flowering. i had a strike of luck and all 3 of my seedlings were female.

well pics are better than words so...(any suggestions, cc ,etc. is welcomed this is my first grow and im not easily offended. Im here to learn)

still a noob i'll post more pics when i can really get the hang of this

one is doing better by far. and the biggest girl just showed flowers.(no pics yet)

more info should given earlier:
light :10 24w/100eq cfl mix of warm and daylight & 2 75w fluro tubes

the best looking girl which is also the youngest is in a mix i made myself. the other 2 are in mg organic ,which i know is not the best but i was strapped for cash and need to transplant. it was also free.

yea but i wouldn't want to kill some expensive seeds since im still new at this.

any seed banks that are quick and safe?
Nirvana is good for beginners. They have some pretty good F1 hybrids that are real cheap. Of course, you will produce different phenotypes, but it's all good and fun.

yea i've heard good things about nirvana.. but from some post i've read attitude seems speeder with the shipping (heard of people waiting months for seeds..

my mom, my girlfriend and myself are going to amsterdam in 8 months so i think i might pick up my first "real" seeds there

Youre gonna love it in Amsterdam! I stayed in a place called Utrecht for quite some time, I never wanted to come back, lol. Anyhow, I was wondering the breakdown on your lighting, kelvin wise that is, do you have some 2700k in there for your flowering? Thats the spectrum they use best for denser nugs.

yea Im excited, its gonna be awesome! did you get any seeds there?

yea i have 8 26(100 eq) 2700k blubs in there. i just added another power strip fixture with 3 2700k cfl's about a week ago which is helping alot

here some pics from today. i was away from my girls for 2 days.

Looks really good man. I'm still new to the whole thing.... but i would recommend moving your lights far closer. Looks like your losing a lot of lumens with that distance. And position them all around the bud sites. Will plump up the buds

Yeah, the closer you have the lights to the bud sites the better, they will be more compact and dense. Further out will cause you to have really loose nugs.

Oh and I wish I had brought back some seeds now, but back then I wasnt even thinking about it. Didnt grow or think that I ever would.
