Day 3 of 12/12 for 2 of the tall riders and no balls yet. I'm pretty sure it would have shown by now because the other outdoor plant started showing about a week ago. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I measured it yesterday and its right at 20" and Its in a 4-5gal pot now so I'm hoping to see some good growth within the next couple months!

I tied the 3 week old TR down so it can be nice and bushy if it turns out to be a female.

Heres a couple of my tall rider girls

The first pic is in a 5 gallon bucket.

They are close to 5, 5 1/2 feet or so

lets hope for no balls treeZ, LoL. dam, those are some nice plants there husa!!

Hopefully treeZ will follow mine and be girlies. Mine should produce well....Err I hope they will.

Well turns out my luck was bad but at least I got 1/4 Finally showing Hairs!!

It was a great feeling seeing those little hairs pop out after what I've been through this far along!! I took a few pics, its a little hard to see from the angle but I'm positive it has hairs!

The last pic is the 3 week old TR that I lst'd.

I'll get some better pics up on friday!

What do you guys think leave it on 12/12 or switch back to 20/4, I'm a little confused on that..??

hell yeah treeZ, take care of that girl, can you clone her? nows the time to do it before she really starts flowering.

i would just leave them on the 12/12...if it didnt flower on the 20/4 cycle then maybe there is a lower % of ruderalis in that strain than they label it...seems some autoflower..some dont.the % of each type...sativa/indica/ruderalis might not be truly known for this strain...we already know it unstable.the only thing i wonder is if it stays on the 12/12 will that slow its growth not getting those lights for that 8 hours...there might not be an exact answer for this...i guess try one way..if it works woo hoo..if not try it another way next time..but at least she is a she now

Keep it on 12/12. 2 months of waiting then after less than a week at 12/12 it's showing hairs. I don't think it's a coincidence. This is definitely not an autoflower pheno. Like dj said, the %of ruderalis is unknown because the strain seems unstable. From now on I'd treat them like any other non-auto strain.

Shoot Alice at Nirvana a line and politely explain the story. Who knows, maybe they will hook you up.

now that i think about it...well...now that my pills have kicked in...def leave them 12/12.now that it has started flowering...its growth cycle should be back on track.stopping the 12/12 might stop the flowering.if it follows at least some ruderalis guidelines it will keep flowering and growing at the same time..switching it back to 20/4 will put its energy back into new growth...will drop your yield.it will normally grow 3 times its size in flowering..let it start growing some big ass buds while its doing that

I was planning on cloning her but I'm not sure if I'm going to have room this time around. I need to get a couple things together before I start cloning but thats mainly what the wonder womans for.

So it takes about 6-8 weeks for these to flower supposedly but should I plan for 10 anyway because everything about them was wrong in the discription this far..??

I know I have a long way, I'm just trying to plan ahead..

So I watered the plants today and I noticed some serious bug problems starting, that this plant went through very early on in its life and almost didn't make it.

Its called a leaf minor maggot, here's what I pulled off here about it.

Leaf Miner Maggots



Prevent: Environmental control indoors and in greenhouses will prevent the leaf miner fly from laying its eggs in your plant.
Identify: Leaf miners are maggots usually 1/8th inch thick when hatching. It is very rare that a grower will notice them before they notice the damage they cause. These maggots burrow through leaves leaving brown and light green trails behind them. The maggot will usually be visible inside the leaf it is burrowing through.


Trails are easily visible in the wake of leaf miners

Eradicate
Repression: Leaf miner maggots live inside tunnels in your plant and are well protected against measures you take against them. Yellow sticky traps are effective for adult leaf miner flies.
Predators: The parasitic wasps Dacnusa sibirica, Diglyphus isaeo, or Opius pallipes are effective predators of maggots.
Manual Removal: Crush the maggots inside leaves with your fingers, doing so is easy given they trap themselves inside the leaves. Cut infested leaves off your plant and burn them or treat in excess of 140F/60C.
Spray: Sprays are ineffective against these maggots as they are entirely protected within their tunnels. Water your plant with a .5% solution of neem, this works very quickly and will stay in your plants tissues for around 4 weeks successfully repelling any further incursions.




I went ahead and pinched the leafs like he suggests and then cut them off and disposed of them, now I need to get some neem oil and water with .5%..?? Sound about right? I really want to do what I can to help this survive, I hope I caught it early enough..

Here's a few pics of the plant, there's also some faint yellow spots on a few leaves.. Any ideas of what this could be? Thanks for the help in advance and of course +Rep if I can..
