Hi everybody, this is my first grow and my first post. I finally got around to putting some finishing touches on my closet system this weekend and thought I would post up photos for some feedback. I do not have plants yet and will be getting clones this coming week. I'm trying to hunt down some Grandaddy Purps / Grape Ape / Purple Erkle family genetics. I encourage you to track this thread as I will continue to update it, and I greatly appreciate any help that can be given over the next few months! Comments and Suggestions please!

- Light: Air-Cooled Digital 600W Switchable
- Reservoir: 30 gallon Rubbermaid DWC - 6 Plants
- Closet Dimensions: 6.5' x 4' x 8' = 208 cubic feet
- Screen: 2.5' x 3' = 7.5 Square Feet
- Exhaust: 450cfm inline exhaust
- Intake: 12"x24" Darkroom Louvre with two 240cfm axial fans.
- Air Pump: 40 Liters per hour
- Water: Reverse Osmosis
- Nutrients: General Hydroponics
- Air conditioner: 11,000 btu
- Power: I had a friend run two separate 20A lines solely for the closet.
Current Problems:
- Closet temperature is around +4ºF over ambient, which already has been hitting the low 80s in March. Screen temperature has been hitting a high of 84ºF during mid-day. My plan is to run the light 18/6 and have it off during the hot afternoon, but even during the evenings my apartment is quite warm and this may become a problem. My temps will likely range between 75 and 80ºF.
- My reservoir is 30gal, and my air pump is a commercial 40 Liter Per Hour pump intended for fish tanks and ponds 60-100gal. Will this be enough air, or should I look into another air pump?
- There's a little more vacuum than I would prefer when opening and shutting the door, I need to add another intake vent to the door, or add some intake holes elsewhere. A second Darkroom Louvre would be too expensive for me right now.
- The light does not currently have closed intake/exhaust venting, it blows out air directly from the closet. Does anyone know how much a closed system would help with my temps? A second exhaust fan for the room might be prohibitively expensive for me.
- I also need to purchase a carbon scrubber and additional exhaust fan in the coming weeks (I plan to have this done before I begin flowering).
