First grow Closet/CFL

Day 13. Alot has happened since yesterday. Some great growth on plant #1. I also got a free clone from my friend down the street. Also, the rest of the seeds germinated so they are in there too. I didnt really plan on having that many plants at one time, but it happened haha, so we'll see what happens. Im still trying to decide between a 250w or 400w mh/hps package. Keep in mind i have trouble with the heat in spring/summer since i live in a desert. What would you guys recommend? I will be getting it at the end of this month

Great growth, Can anyone tell me when it is in veg state? i heard the 4th set of leaves means it is in veg and anything under that is still a seedling? is that true?

Also, should I ever top or lst Plant #1 or just it grow regular? and if i should top or lst then when should i do it? Plant #1 will be 2 weeks old tomorrow.

subbed dude, nice setup you got goin on! I'm a first time grower also and growing in a closet with 2 cfls 27w and a 250W hps setup with nirvana white widdow, but at day 6 not even 1 seed has sprouted lol

Welcome I wanna get a 250w mh/hps but i have to wait till the end of the month Did you germinate them?

no, the guy from my grow shop told me "you can put the seeds directly into the jiffys without germ." so i did it... lets just home for the best im thinking of starting a thread but no plants yet

you could always try it the way i did it LOL... germed seeds then started my grow journal... after a short faff strated the cabinet build.... and wondered why things got rather stressfull ... 3 weeks in and i'm starting to settle down,

but i wouldnt recomend it hahahahaha

Day 14. Finally week 2. I bought some Fox Farm Grow Big yesterday and was wondering if I could use it now or should i wait a little while for my plant to get bigger? And if i can use it now, do i use 1/2 strength? I also, have Superthrive, and people are saying to add 1 drop/gal and use it for every watering. Is the Grow Big and Superthrive ok for my plant? here are some pics.

thats about the size of my plant when i started to give em grow big but i am doing a dwc no soil heres some pics of the day i sterted to give them grow big and a pic 1 week later i would say go for it but i am noobie

Alrite Sorry for the late update, it is day 15 and my little baby seems to be doing alrite. I added nutes today, i used 1/3 strength fox farm big bloom, 1/2 strength fox farm grow big, and 2 drops of superthrive in a gallon of water. So, that should be good for the week. Here are some pics.

Can anyone tell me if it is little for its age? it is 15 days old in these pictures.

Day 16. Started germinating the last 2 of my northern lights seeds, all the other seed were killed because i put them in jiffy pellets and they dried out. I will also be buying Pineapple Express autoflowering seeds this friday. Im looking forward to the autoflowering plants. Here are some pics of #1.

i have Barneys Farm Pineapple Express auto waiting to germ .... looks well nice, small though!... my green o'matics are awesome fun

and i have Nirvana Blue Mystic & N-lights which grow larger... so i'm waiting for more space to get my tent up
