Hey guys, I just finished harvesting my first plant... what a fucking amazing feeling (and smell too). Anyways hope ya like- personally I can't believe some wild-sprouted bagseed could become something so delicious. Just goes to show you what a little Foxfarm, TLC, and more than 300 watts of CFL's can do.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, another one of those RCC MF's gone off and grown the good shit- let the smokefest begin. (jk- it's already been cloudy for a while)     :o :weed:

ps- next grow has already started w/ 6 seedlings: 1 cindy princess 99, 1 trainwreck, 1 x of the two, and the other 3 are orange kush bagseeds.
the babies are a week or so from flowering- i'll post up when i'm not blazed.

-peace

Looking very sweet. I would love to know what the total weight is after dry. Enjoy it, you earned it.

thx for the kind words everyone-

I used Miracle Grow Organic potting mix (starting with 50/50 verm/soil) and then moved to 100% soil. I used - Fish emulsion high nitro, some scotts 10-15-10, seaweed extract (.1-0-3), a local specialists 0-2-1, along with big bloom, a few tums (over time... calcium in the soil... you get it), and i used maple syrup instead of molasses for the flushes.

ps- 307.5 wet

I just whipped out the calculator. That's like 11 ounces. If you get 30% of that in dry weight that will be 3 ozs. (plus)!!!!!!!!

One of the best CFL light setups I've seen in a while too. Great Job all around. :weed:

haha yea man! i couldn't f'n believe it. and to tell the truth i've probably already smoked at least 30g or so (wet) before harvest... just couldn't resist.
i think it really is all about light coverage/love man- cuz this baby was very nearly dead for a long time right before flowering. but that's life, apples and lemons, or something like that.

thanks again for all the kind words, i couldn't have done it without at least 20 emergency plant problem posts etc. this is a success story for everyone. ha. i'm really looking forward to this next round though- i'll be posting

Wow! That is amazing! I am doing a cfl grow right now and after reading this thread, I have rearranged my lights like you have all around the plant. Hopefully I can get some decent buds!

thanks guys- and grinda... i'd love to see some pics of your setup/rearrangement. this was my first grow, and after reading, discussing, observing, and experimenting i'm really sold on fluorescent light. natural, low heat- AND if you use HDepot's lights you can achieve an incredibly effective light spectrum their daylights = 5500k (great veg, even more so than 6500k i believe, due to the increased red-end of the spectrum), bright whites = 3500k (great for flowering but also has a good amount of blue light to support veg/leaves even during 12/12 etc) and the standard 2700k. after jackin' around with 'em a little bit i've decided 70/20/10 for early veg, 50/30/20 for end veg/early flowering, and 10/30/60 for end (maybe going 0/30/70 for the last week).

and- cfl's allow you to cater to each individual plant's needs. they take more work, but, guaranteed: the enjoyment of building everything just how you want it, just right, and watching the grow is almost reward enough and then the amazing bud at the end? i couldnt ask for more.

Good job with your CFL grow! I'm one week from harvesting my single plant, grown with 4 45 watt cfls. hope to be enjoying the same satisfaction of some home grown goodness as you are, very soon!
