Love that kief box too! Let gravity do the work for you and it's great for pinching a bit and adding it to the top of a bowl or just a little added to the vape for taste and effect.

I've tried a lot of methods of extraction. BHO, ISO hash, Kief box and canna butter. I seems such a shame to waste anything I grew that has medicine in it.

Thanks so much man! As long as you give them a little TLC they will do great. Today is day 46 since switching lights. Not much to update so I took some pics with the 20x microscope magnifier I got. It was only $5.71 and free shipping from amazon with a 10x and 30x jeweler's loupe. I swear the 30x is no more than 10x though. Here's the link if anyone is interested:

WOW! Looking through that loupe is incredible, and to think one day I'll be able to post similar pics!

I checked out the loupe you bought, judging by that I won't have to buy one as I've got one that I use in my work. Day 46 you say, I'll be starting 12/12 on 12/1 so 46 days will put me in mid January, I can't wait. My B'day is 2/7, wouldn't that be a nice present, my plants coming in!

Thanks for the pics, it does give me a good idea of what I'm working toward. Good job!

You know, a few years ago I had a couple go hermie on me when I was growing outside, didn't notice them until way late. It was a bummer and having to clean seeds from my stash was a pain in the butt. But everything still smoked great and I got lots of seeds for future grows! And all the seeds worked great, I always got way more females from them than Males. Out of 6 I'd generally get at least 4 and usually 5, one year I got all 6 females!

Yeah I'm actually kinda happy about it cause now I will have plenty of good seeds.

Nice finish , bummer about the hermies. Save the seeds and see how things smoke ..Finally started myself, about 23 days from starting seeds so far so good .Don't forget to post your harvest weight, any idea what your next strain will be ? Now that the first grow is almost behind get some seeds ready!! Did you make it to the end with the sh nutes or did you need to get more?

Thanks ol hippy! I think I have about 2 weeks left so I'll keep updating, expecially with the smoke report. I can't wait! I actually did not by the started kit, I built one myself, so I am using VataGrow nutrients. They work well but I think I'm gonna get a liquid nutrient for next time. Depending on how my stuff smokes, I might grow from my own seeds. I won't be starting my next grow until after new years so I'm still looking at strains. Possibly Super Lemon Haze, Northern Lights, White Widow, and a bunch more that I'm looking at. Decisions, decisions. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good strain?

When picking strains it's best to go by the type of high you are looking for and then cull it to the growing conditions you can provide. For instance, don't grow a monster if you have height restrictions. Also look at the flower time. I like 8-10 weeks if I can get it which limits you to indica and crosses that are indica dominant i growth pattern. I say look at the LSD fems but at this point I think that would be redudant of me! LOL! Haze screems sativa at me but a good NL/WW cross is nice.

im doing a side grow with soma lavender and everything has gone so smooth with it.. i switch it to flower tom night at 3 weeks veg.. says it gets a good stretch if you dont switch to flower early. id say try that pineapple express or delicious sensi star i have that already for next grow.. looks ridiculous and i have heard nothing but good about sensi star... and dont order from anywhere but attitude.. their the best.

Today is 47 days since the switch. I took pics of everything from my pet that's keeping out the bugs, to the roots. I'm thinking less than 2 weeks left for my two small girls but the big one might have to go an extra week or so. What do you all think? You can see the hairs beginning to die and change color on the little girls. I am SO EXCITED! Thanks for stopping in. Peace :peace:

I think your about right. You have about 7 weeks in and 9-10 weeks is about right for an indica or indica leaning cross. They really swell up the last couple of weeks. I'm sure you know to check the trichs before you cut. Beautiful buds you got there!
