Well here we go, i started a while ago... but I read countless hours with on this site how to grow, so now im doing it and seeing how it turns out...
The my grown room is a room in a basement. its about 8'x7'
WEEK 1:
Friday Feb. 15th (DAY 1)
- Started germinating 33 seeds inside 3 moist folded paper towel under light to maintain warmth.
Thursday Feb 21st (Day 6)
- 25 of 33 sprouted out of the shell.
WEEK 2:
Friday Feb. 22nd (DAY 7)
- Planted 25 seeds in plastic Dixie cups.
- Used (ill update brand later) potting soil.
- Hung 2 fluorescent 40 watt 2000 or so lumens tube lights 2 away from soil. Will add another set of 2 bulbs when plants get bigger
- Watered with warm water with added plant food (will add brand later).
- Set lights to 20/4, on/off.
Sunday Feb. 24th (DAY 9)
- Noticed most of the seed/flowers were showing at or above the soil.
- Ones that werent visible were growing downward.
- Moved the seed/flower level with top of the soil and put the sprout facing down if seed/flower was not visible.
Wednesday Feb. 27th (Day 12)
-Measurements: Smallest plant; .2
Largest plant; 1.5
Most plants; around 1
also noticed today that 4 of the cups didnt have any seeds or stems or anything showing. so in the next couple days if nothing shows up its time to put the soil back in the bag for those 4.
