So this was my first grow and I choose Berry Ryder Auto seeds.
I think I did everything wrong as far as I pumped it full of nutes the whole time, EC running on average 2.3 ph. was always spot on and I didn't over water.
I did however use the FIM method and trimmed this baby until I couldn't any longer it probably put the plant back a week but it defiantly spread its wings.
I then SCROGGED and generally everything went well I just had the one plant in there in the end as I started with 3 one now outdoors not even flowering yet and its just showing sex this baby suffered my indecision about location and was moved 3 or 4 times.
I chopped it down yesterday as 90% Trichs were cloudy so I stopped watering and turned the light out for 2 days and boy she was one sticky sweet joy.
I will keep on with the Autos and soil as its pretty easy and am happy with the overall quantity as I smoke a couple of times a week and the rest I give away I think I will harvest dry maybe 2 and a half maybe 3 oz.:weed: IMG_0307.JPG

auto`s are great if you can`t run 14/10 or 12/12 or 10/14

I try to tell people that use just one area to veg and flower to run some autos during their veg as if you start them before you start to flush then a fast auto is ready to harvest right about the time you start needing the extra space for the girls you`ve veg`d and been flowering for a week or 4

The down side to auto`s is once they start to flower it can be a struggle to get them to keep growing and some do pop out hairs really fast, but some auto strains seem to get huge if you run the lights for 18 or 20 hours

With seeds I normally like to balance what I`m getting vs how much I`m paying and I really hate it if I have to pay over £1 a seed I really try to never go over the £3 to £5 a seed mark, but I`ve got really nice fem`d seeds for under 50p each before now, that way you don`t feel so bad when you plant 30 and end up tossing half of them, lol

Great work mate nice big thick buds mate.
I have to say I am really loving the autos really easy my next grow I am not going to FIM I will however SCROG and just let the plant do its thing 18/6 light cycle then once its about 2 weeks out from harvest 10/14 then when its ready 2 days of dark
2 EC the whole way through then the last week straight water ph adjusted of course although I don't think it matters here the waters pretty fresh.

If your running hydro ph`ing just kinda helps you not get that white foam of death in the last week, but I try to use a citrus based ph down when I`m in flush, a little sugar, dextrose or molasses can sometimes help get more taste too but if your water is fresh and not like the city crap I get I bet your buds smells really sweet already ?

You Sherman420 what breeders auto NL was that ? I ran vision seeds nl x big bud a few years ago and loved the smell piney as fuck but I`m just finishing up 2 small NL from KC brains I ran 12/12 from seed and they have almost no smell and it`s pissing me off,,, could just be the c99 I`ve got going has spoilt my nose lol

Hey Konassure,

That N.L. was from Speed Seed's. Straight up classic, old school Northern Light x Ruderalis. I was skeptical at first when I placed my seed order, the seed's were inexpensive at around $4.00 each( I learned not to judge a book by it's cover). But what a great strain it turned out to be. She was a short plant at around two feet tall and just packed with big, dense, resin coated flower's, what a stunner. Very little leaf to flower ratio. I just jared everything up tonight, the scent is very citrusy, almost like the smell of "Five Alive" fruit drink, honestly it smell's that good! Everything the breeder had described was exactly how this grow played out. I would recommend this strain to any of you here at R.I.U. Problem is, everybody seem's to be sold out. I started a Diesel Automatic by Speed Seed's on Wednesday, she broke ground yesterday, I think she is a N.Y.C. Diesel x Lowryder#2. I still have quite a few seed's from them I have yet to try out, I can't wait. The smell of the N.L. was pretty neutral during flower, almost like coffee, strong coffee. N.L.'s are not supposed to stink, but this one did, kind of, sort of neutrally. You get my drift!

Greenman101,

Thank's for the kind word's! That plant of your's is drop dead gorgeous. I'm a total fan of Auto's now as well. As a matter of fact I ordred some more Auto bean's last night. A couple more N.L. Auto's, a Blueberry Auto, a Krippleberry Auto and an Auto Viking Blue. What's wrong with me, I can't stop buying seed's. My Wife think's it's a disorder.

Anyhow my friend's, keep on gardening!

Looks REALLY good for a first grow. Im growing my first auto at the moment, and ive found out that even if you pump them full of nutes, they seem to recover pretty well. I over watered a little, and fed them a little too much, and they are still looking fine.
