First grow, flowered now dying

Hey all.
First time growing, hit the 4month mark yesterday from seed sprout.
Its an AfghanSkunk feminised seed, outdoors in pot, in South Australia - the driest state in the driest continent. Bought this strain due to the nature of our weather.
Weather here has been 14 days of over 40degrees this summer (+100F), with probably 21+ days of over 35degrees
Feed has been a little blood and bone a month or so ago, and a little tomato fertiliser. Plenty of 10Litre buckets of rainwater, never felt as if it was over-watered

Plant was looking great one week ago when it started flowering (pic 1)
Then I noticed midweek that it started looking unhealthy (pic 2) (pic 3), so I added a little handful of more tomato fertilizer and a covering of peat moss to the top soil
Next day we had 100mm of rain in 24hrs, which is an Adelaide record for Feb in something like the past 45years
Soil got VERY waterlogged, next day plant looked quite sick.

So, I went to a hydro shop for the first time, bought Rock Fusion Bloom and Rock Resinator Heavy Yields.
The bloke gave me a big pot, potbag, measuring cup, and a bag of Coco coir soil. So i transplanted it yesterday, and gave it a bucket with 30ml each the Rock stuff

Looking quite sick today, one week after flowering began, one day now since transplant (pic 4) (pic 5) (pic 6)
Any chance this will survive and flourish?
What should I be looking at doing? Hydro man said it should look good in a weeks time, but Im concerned.
This was my little baby the past 4 months, was devastated yesterday.
Most of the leaves are very dry and brittle, curled up, and obviously not happy. Flowers are mostly wilted and drooping, and looks like its dried out more since yesterday (pic 7)
Lower leaves are stiff and crumbling

Smoke irregularly for medicinal purposes (chronic pain) and was looking forward to May when it would have been dried and cured.
I guess I stuffed up with the handful of fertilizer and peat moss on Wednesday. The rain soaking didnt help either I guess. Im thinking it was a sudden mix of nutrient burn and lack of air to roots due to the rain soaking.

Any advice? Think it'll come back?

Nute burned the shit out of them. It'll probably recover tho, but you'll get less than ideal results. I hope your soil drains well, because you will need to flush it.

Well the transplant was probably a good idea. That pot was way too small for such a large plant. I would have went a little bigger actually.

But yeah man that looks like some pretty good nute burn to me. What kind of tomato fertilizer is it exactly and what do the directions say? You said you added a little handful, so I am assuming it is a top dressing? If that is the case and it is a type of time released top dressing, the problem is that every time it rains or you water, it's going to release more nutrients.

It looks to be a very healthy plant otherwise, so if you are careful I think it will bounce back.

yeh pot was small, was trying to keep it compact. When I pulled it out it was all roots :)
thanks for the advice, hoping it does come back. yes it was a handful around the stem (which is very thick) and peat moss over the top.
Shouldn't have added any :( damn it!!
Gave it a bucket with 30ml Bloom this morning, and another plain bucket just now to help the flush. Will do the same in two days time.
Very disappointed in myself. It was looking great one week ago....
*sigh
