Hello my fellow botanists,

Been following peoples progress for a long while and finally started my first grow at the end of last year. I did make a thread but i lost it weeks ago.

A friend upgraded a whole lot and gave me everything i needed. Extractor fan, tubing, lights, carbon filter, nutes and clones.
Have been growing under
a 350 watt hps in a light tube and a 600 watt fluorescent? (not actually sure what the light is) and its been going great. Spent 8-9 weeks in Veg feeding it terra vega and rhizotonic. I weaned the lights down from 18/6 to 12/12 over 4-5 days and been about 9-10 days in flowering with nutes changed. and im surprised at the boost its had since its been in 12/12 .
As a hobby its very enjoyable and i haven't found it particularly difficult in anyway personally.

What do you all think ? :)

I'm noob too but something looks wrong with the tops you took closeups of.

Also, by boost since switching to 12/12 do you mean they are stretching? You kind of want to avoid that.

I love when they triple in size ... you can always tie them down but am not sure why you wouldnt want your plants to get bigger?

You don't want large inter-nodal gaps, and stretching gives you less dense bud-sites. This is the reason people suggest leaving the MH up for the first week or two of 12/12 before switching to HPS.

Thanks for the advice guys.
Yeah i meant the stretching, they haven't stretched a giant amount but it was a noticeable burst from the late stage of veg, i think i let them get about as tall in veg as they really wanted to and they had slowed down a little.
Algore, what do you think doesn't look right? have me a little worried now, if its just the colour its because i have the balance high on camera so i didn't have to pull them from the tent for a picture.
My plan so far for the flowering was to keep up with the different nutes; using Boost accel. and terra flower now, start adding PK around 4-5 weeks, then clean feed it for the last 2 weeks. When i feed them i take them out and take away any leaves that have become weak and wont hang on if i run my hand around the plant or put a little pull pressure on them.
Any other advice ? I did my research but there's a lot of sided advice about things like trimming and when to change nutes, how to best increase yield etc so i figured id learn the non-essentials from trial and error

I have a question and small update
Currently all hit between 33-37 cm
Can anyone give me a rough temp/humidity i should be keeping the tent. I have had it around 26degrees and humidity in the 35% range, either i should change ?

A Little update. Buds are starting to feel dense, the smell is amazing (in the tent) and my grower friend is surprised how tall a few of them have grown. Gave them a small trim and got rid of some of the problematic leaves blocking light.
As always colour may be a little off due to the light setting on camera and the light at bottom of set up is there only to show height; couldn't see pots in dark otherwise

Leaves Blocking Light?

Should have elaborated a little; only few where a leaf was blocking light from reaching an area that's budding enough to be worth loosing the leaf, i rotated my plants recently so the taller ones where a little further from light and so a few areas that started to flower where not getting enough light, I didn't just pull off everything at the top- wouldn't that be devastating for a newbie to do!

Another little update, things are still going well. Used HALO foliar last night, i have seen a lot of conflicting opinions on it but why not, trial and error etc. Going to be PK week next week i believe and harvest last of feb, 1-2nd march possibly, i am getting excited bongsmilie

I do have a question and probably should have asked earlier but at least ill know next time if so; As you see in one photo there is a lot of underbush with small popcorn like buds and the none of the pictures do any justice in showing the whole crop or quite how much lower plant is growing. Now i have been wondering if the plant would be better of like this (and ill have some small buds to quickcure and smoke while i wait at least) Or trying to keep it trimmed if its not going to really grow so the plant can redirect more energy for flower production. They get a very little ammount of light so low with the bush i have going.
