I'm with you Dan I'm germing two more right as we speak. Gonna give it a shot 2 plants 3 gallon bucket AK all by itself.
Usually I go with nutes at about 2 weeks. If you are concerned and think you need to. Just mix it up at like 25%. Probably wont hurt anything. But after you got 2 sets of real leaves. I go all in as I described earlier. You have to remember. Perlite is just a passive medium. It provides zero nutrients. Hempy is like a passive hydro. You gotta feed nutes period. But, generally good genes have what they need to get to 2 weeks. In my experience anyway. So in about 3 to 4 weeks I'll start nutes or at about 3 to four nodes
3 gallon buckets are good, you should get two large plants....sometimes they get a bit user unfriendly when too bigI'm with you Dan I'm germing two more right as we speak. Gonna give it a shot 2 plants 3 gallon bucket AK all by itself.
fem and "auto" are 2 different subjectsIsk alot of good info here. Wondering if those are all autos of photos think that means fem. I'm learning Dan
I agree about autos. I do them because you don't have to worry about light leaks and such. I don't even use a timer. I flip em on in the eve after work. Flip it off in the morn when I leave. They get about 14 hours. I've done it almost every way. 12/12, 18/6. I think it may slightly reduce yield going with less light. But, still. I usually get at least a couple of Os.fem and "auto" are 2 different subjects
fem = feminized (99.99% chance it will be female)
Auto = no need to reduce the light to 12/12, as they will flower with any amount of light...you may go 20/4 or 24 hours/day of light
I love auto's for my sunshine grows, as I have limited summer months...but had a few disappointments using auto's for my HPS grow, so I will likely go with regulars for this winter's grow......I refer to auto's as plug & play....hard to go wrong, so a great way to start growingI agree about autos.
