First Grow..How Am I Doing?...PICTURES...

This plant is 1 week old so far..
its growing under two(2) 60 watt bulbs. A total of 120watt's.
(I am not sure what kind of light's they are.)
The medium is MiracleGro.
I know that my plant should be growing under a 400watt HPS or somthing equivalent to that.But I am low on money and thought i could make this work with what i got! Can this possibly work? I plan on getting a 400watt HPS about time its ready for flowering. But will the light's i have support the plant through veg. stage??? and also,
how is my baby looking for being 1 week old? :blsmoke:

Dude she is doin just fine. It will be in the flowering stage that u WILL require as much light as u can get. Ur plant will prob go throught to fruition but the yield will be so poor u will feel dejected and poss give up. DONT MORE LIGHT = MORE BUDS its that simple dude good look.

Please tell me those arnt regular light bulbs. If they are, no they wont work for long at all. Get some CFLs from home depot or walmart if you have to.

Yes they are reguar light bulb's...I ordered two 150watt. High Pressure Sodium Bulb's from the internet. They should be here in a few days. Im gunna replace the regular light's that are in the lamp's and replace them with the 150watt HPS bulbs.
that should do the trick!
the 150watt HPS bulbs were only 19.99/Per bulb.

Those will work. I hate to burst your bubble but im assuming you dont know you need special ballasts for those bulbs. They dont work in those light sockets.

just get some cfls cancel your hps order. cfls are like 1.00 ea.

Thanks. i just cancled my order and my money already was transfered back into my account.
Now can CFL's fit right into these lamps i have?
and what kind of CFL's? I have google'd CFL lights and theres different kinds..
and how many watt's do you reccomend?

Not too sure. My 150s are in HPS flood light fixtures from ebay. Google it, you might be able to find a kit for cheap but i wouldnt know. You may be better off to find them together and cancel the bulbs if you cant find i cheap ballast but thats up to you.

Yes they can. You want ones in the 6k range as far as kelvins for veg. And you would be better off just going to walmart for those. You could still get a hps for flower if you wanted so you dont have to buy 10+ CFLs.
