I'm happy with my progress, but I would like to hear what the community here thinks.

Week 6 starts tomorrow. I am growing in rockwool, ebb and flow, 3 times a day (first flood an hour after lights on, mid day flood, last flood an hour before lights off) with jacks 3-2-1 in RO. Pool shock at .01 grams per gallon for sterility. 2 GLS 300 LED lights running at 100% as of today. Ive had the EC at 2.4 since week 3, but I think I am over doing it a bit, so I plan on starting this week closer to an EC of 2. 20210829_155209.jpg20210829_155224.jpg20210829_155231.jpg20210829_155242.jpg

the front 2 are blueberry and the back is white widow, all seedsman freebies.

Lookin pretty nice! Theres a little bit of nute burn on the leaf tips. I'd dial back the nutrient strength by about 25%. That white widow is plumping nicely, looks way better than my seedsman freebie white widow.

Good luck! Peace :peace:

Ill drop the EC to 1.8 when I change the res. I appreciate the input, thank you!

Nice job on your first grow! It's great that you are experimenting with EC, you've seen what the high end does, don't be afraid to see what happens when you go down to 1.2 and in between. It's good to test things for yourself rather than rely only on forum advice. Keep up the good work!

Nicely done. I read your note first, and knew just by how carefully you have set your grow up that you would have something nice.

I like all the pictures except the first one. It looks very leafy and it may be too much N as it flowered.

That's my only critique. A real solid effort do not let up and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LISTEN to these other guys who have done lots of hydro runs.

Jacks formula keeps the Nit in flower, and I am more scared of over pruning than under pruning with all the open space in my tent. Ill have to be more committed to pruning when I do a full tent run. I think lowering the overall EC will help the excess of nitrogen in flower aswell as the burnt ends.

The art of growing and the science of growing is a balance I need to work on. I got so stuck up on charts and recommended dosages that I stopped listening to my plants until the signs something was wrong became obvious, and yet the results are pretty impressive (to me) so far. I am sitting infront of my plants now, just finished my res change, considering changing my schedule a little bit, and just admiring the girls. This is dope. :)
