First Grow - How do i keep my plants short

I'm growing in a growbox that's 3 feet tall and it's some bagseed so it's prob gonna grow like a fucking tree is their anyway i can keep it low and still produce a decent amount of bud for my self? All new to this kinda starting to learn

umm just keep the lights close and LST them, supercropping, bending, tieing, or simply training is very effective. cut anything that won't get good light. if you don't have to move the plant ever you can position it real well with some screw in hooks and training wire.

I'm in the same boat, cramped growing quarters. I prefer topping to other methods. Mainly cause i can use the toppings as clones. I'm probably sure that i'm not the first to use toppings as clones. so far i've had pretty good luck with this method, but atleast it keeps the plants down. Who else uses toppings for clones?
