Mine are coming along, the auto threw some pistils yesterday, and the violator is just bonkers every day, will update today.

Im going to get some clones off the vk and try to get them up and running so they can flower with the momma vk. Hope to have 3 in flower when the auto is finishing.

Bro - johnson actually has the cx6 with the citizens in stock. I bet he'd let you swap out if you mailed him. Im not a led wizard I just summized thru my reading the citizen is slightly better? I saw a pretty lengthy blog by a skilled grower who argued he got better yield from citizen cluo48 than even the cxb3690..who knows tho.

I switched strains I'm growing 2 clones from purple city genetics as the headband tried to mold on me I still have headband I'm gonna clone with the doubledream which is 75% bluedream & 25% stardawg I'm gonna clone these & the headband at the same time I'm pretty happy with the light but if I buy another Johnson I'll get the citizen one
 
The VK is large and in charge. Easily surpassing the auto on the right.

I don't recall such a beast in veg - shes looking solid, I doubt my nutes are dialed in perfect but so far she ok. Ppm still very low, around 600.


The auto has a either a manganese or potassium problem. Its ugly. I will probably never try auto again. Its just no fun.

VK root structure - couldnt get it all the pic, very healthy and growing every day. Ph dialed in to 5.9, ppm is still very low, thet seem to be feeding heavier now, was at 400ppm a few days ago and under 200 today. Back up to 450 for now.

The auto seems to be stunted, no new root growth, no noticaeable top growth - not sure what its doing. Just be in first week of flowering to boot. Adding cal and mag every day but not seeing much results. Ph is 5.9.


Hoping the vk gives me a nice fat yiled for sure. Will keep vegging her for another month.

hey mike top of the morning to ya looks like the vk is proving you're not really doing anything wrong sometimes shit goes south in spite of your best efforts with a decent veg time it's looking like the vk is gonna steal the show I've read all autos aren't created equal & there are a few like mephisto genetics that perform but a lot that don't

I hear ya man. The auto, I believe, was dutch passion white widow.

Yea no more autos for me after this.

The Vk never disappoints each time I look at her. I need to spend some time stretching her out a bit, getting a bit tight, def indica patterns, very very squat. Though im topping the crap out of her every week.

Id go 12/12 now if I wasnt holding out hope for the auto.

crazy as this sounds I went back over your pics & looked at the very newest growth on the auto & you're right she could very well straiten out
 
VK is the beast. Pics are from this am. Cant keep count of the tops, 20 maybe by now. Pleased to be keeping the canopy somewhat level.

The auto is on the right, and also the last pic. It finally has began to grow new roots again and has more top growth. Its doing better for sure. Also very stinky already.

maybe you'll harvest a nug off it yet by that time the vk will probably be approaching monster status & you can flip her & harvest fat things are looking up the worst case the auto gets worse & you end up with a 1 plant grow in that case I think the vk will carry you through
 
Vk is left, auto right.

Foliage getting pretty dense, lots of pruning snd thinning. Starting to supercrop more and more trying to keep everything level, bending and crushing and hurtin her every cpl days.

Haven't touched the auto. Wish it aould just hurry up and flower and finish so I can bud the vk.

Trying to clone, first time in hydro. So far its not working out, the 3rd cutting is up on the far left..we ll see what happens.

Ppm still wicked low, around 450 for both...no idea what Im doin there haa..

The Violator is exploding..I can't count all the heads maybe 25-30..drinking a cpl gallons every few days.

The auto is flowering now..hard to see in the closeup.

hey mike you're rollin right along I'm gonna take a few pics of how I take nutrient samples from the drain tube & how I used to add nutes before I set up a remote reservoir as when you only have the bucket once they start drinking you gotta stay right on top of them really glad your grow is starting to program things are looking up you'll get something from the auto but the vk is gonna be the icing on the cake I shut down for awhile when I moved & in the process of getting my room put together had 2 back-to-back grows that were duds you're doing good

Hey buddy, thanks man Im having alot of fun with this grow Im glad to be back at it after so long. I was going to do a remote bucket res system but i wanted to control each individual plant since I was new to dro and nutrient feeding. The auto i now realize should only be getting 20% strengtb or so while he vk i is more tolerant. Idk.


Im starting to run short on bucket space for root growth..running out of time the vk is just bonkers with craziest growth ive ever personally experienced. If it turns out to be top shelf smoke I would grow this guy every run.


The auto is in full bloom i can now see the light at end of tunnel...another 30-40 days maybe

glad things are going good just think if you had 2 vk' instead of vk & having the auto in there as well
