Day 67 (17 days flower) update:



They are indeed getting huge, i've had to put bending clips again on a couple of sites. But man are they gorgeous and smelling lovely!
I havent done any trimming at all, I had in mind to do a pure vanilla grow my first time and get my bearings first so Ill be happy with all the popcorn and whatever I get. Also the plants are shedding lower leaves that dont get much light by themselves so dont really see the need to do trimming anyway.

You were right they got super big after a while. Subbed and along for the ride =)

Day 73 (22 days flower):



I got a rotting root on my fruity chronic juice plant, I think its working through it by itself now though after I changed and cleaned its res. Two weeks might be a stretch between changes, damn I was hoping I could be real lazy and not having to fiddle with the height/lids/roots and tetrising the plants around all the time...

Both of the retail seeds are really frosting up now, most of the height has been achieved. I'll change the res soon again on fruity juice to get rid of all the dead miniroots floating around, and probably add some PK 13/14 too.

Bagseed #1-2 are both slower types, indica plant is developing resin while the sativa is a going for growth still.

They are really throwing off their scents now, the critical jack smells just awesome, so sweet and pure. I love it, just standing in there and smelling them, all their own distinct smells.

I'm suspecting I have N def on it tho, but I think the light was just too close -- leaves are lighter on adjacent plants aswell. Still unsure so i will keep my eye on it


I happened to burn fruity chronic juice plant on the HPS lamp to the left when I was changing res -oops! These plants are much too big for this space and dwc setup, I will perhaps still do 4 plants on next grow but with much shorter veg, should give me enough room to move around in then.

Nitrogen deficiency appears right in the last pic. Normal for this stage of growth. If so it likely needs calcium and magnesium as well.

Forgot to add nitrogen to bagseed#2 when I did for the others so its got some yellowing leaves as well. Even though I try to keep ppm levels the same I can get some high spikes if I dont fill up with water for a day or so, so im getting slight overnuting signs on all plants now. But they are still growing along ok so no lockout yet.

Orlandocb - yeah congrats, you did a super run looks like Im quite happy with mine too, will definitely do trimming next time and go for larger colas!

~Day 97 update (flower day 46):
Chopped the little one today, its a pure sativa so its taking too long and is just in the way all the time, plus ill have something to smoke.
Resulted in ALOT of popcorn and miniscule, airy buds on this sativa bagseed, with hardly any trimming done. But I now know how a plant behaves, I havent really grown anything until this attempt.

Bagseed #2 Sativa resulted in alot of this, total weight almost an ounce, 27g. Still a little wet though so will be less. Smoke is allright, very uplifting and mild.

Fruity chronic juice sagging everywhere and manhandled on res change so yeah looking good.
