It looks like you've got seeds. Is it posible you got some pollen in there, or a hermie that threw nanners? Those calyx are very swollen and round. Did you squeeze one and check for seeds?

Awww Mannn. I did have one plant Herm on me. Thought I got him out before he shot his wadd..I'll have to check when I get home.

I had a plant catch some pollen by mistake recently. I put a male tent in flower and it dusted a couple plants before I caught it 5 days later.
The bud will still smoke fine, you just have a few seeds to pop out before you grind it.

@MeOhMyOhio just got home & checked out the plants. I can't see any seeds..I popped off some of those calyx looking pods on top of the colas.do immature seeds hide till big, hard, & pop out time. Colas are getting dense h fat. Anybody got any pictures of where to check for seeds?

Sorry if I made you nervous. It could just be a plant with fat calyx and funny forming buds. It takes 2-3 weeks before they harden up, and then you can squeeze them out. About 4-6 weeks to mature to nice brown, and ripe. They are inside the calyx, that the white pistils protrude from. Those white hairs catch the pollen, then turn brown, and recede.
The pistils usually turn brown quickly after pollination, and the buds seem to "ripen", earlier than expected. The plant still needs about 4 weeks to fully develop the hard brown seeds.
Sometimes a little pollen early in flower can cause a bud, or branch to look weird, or with swollen calyx, and the rest of the plant proceeds as normal, looking like part of the plant is growing funny or ripening at a different rate.

Your buds and plants look awesome. Even if you caught a little pollen, it was probably early, and you won't get many seeds.

Grow forum update. Day #87. 48 days since 12/12 flip. Most colas are fattening up with the exception of the fox tails. Especially prominent on top of the Lions Mane X Maui Wowie plant.

Girls are cruizing right along towards the finish line. A second plant started the foxtail thing. I have the light turned down to 40% right now so it's def. not to high, but the damage was already done. Now to just hang in till the fat lady sings.
