First grow journal! using White Widow from AMS!!

well this is how my res.. change goes. I take a water pump and pump all the old solution out of the res. once its out I mix a new solution in a separate rubbermaid tub. I then stirred it for about a minute then take the ppm and ph with my meter. once its at the level i like i take the water pump and pump it back into the res.. Ive been pretty good with checking the ppm & ph regularly which is to my surprise that you think it is a nute problem. I was thinking it might be heat stress. I have a therm/hygrometer that records the min/max humidy and temp levels each day. My max is usually around. 85-90 degrees 60-90% humidity. The min is usually about 20-30% humidity and 62-66 degrees. I have a exhaust fan(i think 172 cfm) that blows air out and I havent made a hole for the intake because there is a 3/4" gap between the floor and the door. Yesterday I raised the 600 hps all the way up to the max(had to drill it into the ceiling) and it was at about 17" away from the tops and now its prob about 22" away. Do you think I should cut a new hole for the intake? would that help with the temp? as I said from the pics of heat stress on this site kinda look like mine and the descriptions somewhat match.

It could very well be heat stress... Your temp's are getting too high and likewise your humidity. The optimum humidity for flower is around 45%... you want to aim for even lower towards the end.

You want your temp to be around 78f... 80f is not too bad...

i Cant figure out y the humidity jumps so high and then so low. the cap controller controls humidity but i do not have a dehumidifier. maybe ill get one. If im gonna cut a hole in the wall for an intake I think it would b best to get a filter. the air that will be comming in is from the attic and who knows what problems that will cause. any ideas? what can I use for a cheap filter? and also where can I get a cheap dehumidifier? I have a large dehum. but when its plugged into the controller it blows the fuse when it kicks on.

You could always buy a couple more fans. They'll take the humidity right down... else you're risking mould at those sort of humidity levels.

alright guys Im in the middle of week 7. The buds are gettin heavy and they are weighing the whole plant down. they are getting so covered in crystals that I want to just pick a bud off and eat it. everytime I touch the buds my hand smells like I was just breaking up the droest dankest nug ever. some of the hairs are starting to turn orange and its looking soo soo pretty.

This is so hard waiting for these next last weeks pass by. The temptation for a early harvest is so hard to ignore.

as for the leaf problems, They are still problems! Im not really worried about that though. harvest is soon and the buds dont seem to have dark wierd brown spots. I got the humidity under controll and the new intake hole is bringing in a nice cool breeze while the hot air is getting sucked out. It doesnt look it has been helping but I think because the plant is nearing harvest it is nearly impossible to fix the problem.

Yeah if it's a nute problem... it is a little late in the day.

Have you checked under the leaves for insects? You need to look really hard. i have thrips right now,and the little bastards are slaughtering my leaves.

You can't see them unless you have good eyes. They look like a brown stright, very tiny, skinny thing. You have to look really hard to see them. Or get a scope. I haven't got a scope... still can't be bothered to get one.
