hey there bsmoke, nice grow you got going on.. you are my first post in over a year so cheers to you and keep up the good work... I cant wait to start my new journal gonna be a blast..
Thanks! Yeah, its my first one, so I'm hoping it does well. I'm told that now that I'm flowering is when the hard part starts, but so far I've been having a blast looking after these girls. Except for moving, that pretty much sucked

I trimmed up the plants a bit to try to enforce better growth on the top colas, and while I was doing that, I decided to take a bunch of pictures I also removed my LST ties which made some of them branches not strong enough to hold themselves, so I tied them off with green bamboo garden stakes I got from home depot. (25 of them for around $3). Anyway, thats why some of them look a bit droopy, but since I took these pictures, by the next light cycle, they were all pointed up towards the light again, which makes me happy
My feet made it into some of the pics, so just ignore that.

Ok, well I just got back from vacation, and checked on my girls, and they are looking pretty good. I found one leaf that looked a bit burnt, and you can see it in one of the pics, but it didn't spread and I can't see any kind of bugs or anything with the microscope, so I think it is maybe just that leaf wasn't getting enough light under the canopy, not sure. I'm not going to worry about it unless it spreads, though.

I know I'm a bit late but I'll definitely sub and watch this to completion. I love me some blue dream, and all of your girls lok fantastic. They have great color to them and are coming along nicely! I'm excited to see the end results and a smoke report as well. Great job so far bro!

The microscope shots are awesome and your grow really looks great. Job well done!!! I'll be interested to hear what, if anything, you might have done differently.
It looks like when I start I'll do a perpetual grow with 4 plants under each light. When they go to flower I'll use the 600w MH for 2 weeks, then switch to the 600w HPS. I have 2 ballasts and 2 each 600w MH and HPS to play with as well as the 2 250w CFL and reflectors. The T-5's will stay in the smaller tent.
Keep us updated.

Thanks, I'm enjoying watching these buds grow every day, and I agree that it looks great, but I think I'm a bit biased
So from what it sounds like, you are going to have a veg tent with t5s and then your flower tent will have both MH and HPS?
The way I was thinking of setting up my perpetual grow is something like this:
12 total plants:
3 Mothers (one of each strain)
Each "set" is 1 plant of each strain ( 3 plants per set)
Week 1:
- Set 1: into veg
- Set 2: into veg
- Set 1: into flower
- Set 3: into veg
- Set 2: into flower
- Set 1: harvest
- Set 3: into flower
- Set 4: into veg
- Set 2: harvest
- Set 4: into flower
- Set 5: into veg
- Set 3: Harvest
- Set 5: into flower
- Set 6: into veg
Etc etc.
I'm not sure how well its going to work, but w'll see

Your plants look great!!
You vegged for 8 weeks? Do you recommend that length of time? I figured 4-5, but I may have been pushing it. Your math does work.
Also the recommended harvest time vary a bit on yours...JTR 8-10, Medi 8-9, and Blue D 9-10...has that had any effect on your timing?
I honestly am not sure how many plants I'll do, but I'm still thinking some combo of GrapeGod, Space Dawg, Critical+, and Bubblicious. I want to keep the strains as short a harvest time as possible with best potential yield.
I plan on the first set I'll grow in the flower tent using the MH 18/6 then switch to 12/12 for two weeks, then switch to the HPS bulb. Why? Because that's what I was told to do LOL. Meanwhile I'll T5 in the smaller tent and when I bring them in after veg there I'll use 1 lamp MH and the other HPS plus two 250w CFL with reflectors. I bought a Hercules set for extra support in the large tent.

Nah, no need for 8 week. I actually vegged for 12 weeks this first time, but that was of course due to necessity. And my numbers were a bit wrong on my timeline, here we go for the visual representation

As for flower times, since I'm close to harvest, I'll find out exactly how close these guys are to each other, and if it is close enough (I'm fairly sure the JTR and Medi will be close enough, its the BD that is the wildcard
) then I'll go with it and if not, then I'll find a different strain or adjust my timeline to deal with the longer flower time I guess
