first grow loose buds??? any ideas???

its my first grow, just finished but with seeds due to hermie caught late. but my buds (even on the tops) didnt get very big and are very loose and airy... heres what im working with: 600watt hps- about 2 ft from plants- humidity staying about 40%- temp about 78 day and 60 at dark-, 4 plants about 5 ft tall each, soil- roots formula 707- dyna grow liquid bloom 3-12-6- about 4ft x4ft area tented in with reflective material in larger room-, a fan,- no co2 :(- the venting thats already in the room- 12/12 lights- i used bag seeds since was first try- any idea's whats causing my sad buds? and maybe a cheap way to fix it for now until i have more money to put into it. or is it just from the bag seeds? any input would help, thanks

Probably your selection of seeds. I notice a big difference between strains. And good or bad phenotypes.

CO2 is important too...

well, i didnt select the seeds, i just took them out of a bad of reg so in case i messed up i wouldn't mess up a good batch of seeds. this time around im buying seeds from dope-seeds but i wanna make sure if it was something else that i try to fix it so the same thing wont happen to them :)

whats a good breeder? i hear dif things about all of them... any you know from first hand that have no problems? i heard attitude and dope seeds were good sites but there are tons of breeders on both of them so im torn between a breeder.

it had to waste a bunch of energy making/maturing seeds when it should of been gaining most of its density towards the end. Thats what i think.

think about NOT ordering seeds directly from amsterdam , i did this and in friends mailbox was opened package with no seeds with sticker saying "confiscated by customs " . May be diff laws from where u are,but here i would say anything from holland is scanned.
Order from uk, canada to be on safe side.

thanks- good info, i really dont have money for seeds i wont get :) theres this video on you tube that a guy does some wicked growing with s.ag.e. after only vegging 2 days and i wanna try to make it work like him, he has the info on the page but i want what breeder he used to start his clones. if you have time look at this video- youtube.com its made by limbolimbo68 and called small plants, big buds. but its almost unbelievable!
