Hi, guys. I'm currently growing three plants that sprouted out of 5 bagseeds.
They are three weeks old now (or was it four maybe..) and measure 6 1/5 inches from the soil up.
These first weeks I've been using just one 4000K 36W T8 lamp 10 inches above the plants, and for the last couple of days I have been moving them into the living room to get some sun while I'm at work. You know, girls and their tanning.
In a 24 hour schedule. This will boost growth rate during the first stages right?
But I have four 15W T5 lamps and three 19W CFLs I'm planning on making a light rig from.
I can't afford any HID lamps or anything at the moment so this is all I got.
I can live with yielding smaller buds. As I said, I'm doing this mostly to see if I can pull it off. (Or will I kill them with the light rig I mentioned?)
How do they look to a more experienced grower?
They certainly don't look as bushy as I've seen them online at the same age. But I guess it's the light.
I'm planning on transplanting them too when the time comes. Just have to sex them first.
The nutes I'm using is nutrients the local gardener store recommended for tomato plants, as I've heard that tomato plants have similar nutritional needs. And they seem to like it so far.
