First grow!! Need ADVICE

This is my first grow. Everything has been going good since i planted the seed in soil last weekend. My only concern is the leaves are curling and twisting a little. I have looked into it and from what ive read it would maybe be the heat/ moisture in the box it is in. I have only turned off the lights twice to let them cool so the plant isnt on a light schedule which could be an issue as well.

Looks good. It's too young for the "claw". Get a damn timer and put on for 18 hr on, 6 hr off. Don't over water or give it nutes. Leave it to dry out until the cup feels light then water. Make sure you have holes in the bottom for drainage... and leave it the fuck alone! I'd put the light directly over it and make sure it's far enough back not to heat up the soil. Use a little fan if you have one but don't let it blow too hard on the bitch. It looks good though so no worries at this point.

I usually use tinfoil around it if I'm using a bottle...light-proof and easy to secure. Plus you can easily lift it up occasionally to see how the rootball is forming...

Welcome to RUI Lampy.
Ur plant looks fine to me from the pictures. Using cfls u can keep the light close to the plants, like u have, witout hurting them.
It could be a heat issue, is the box sealed or is the top open?

I havent been giving it any nutes and the only reason the soil is that wet is because i woke up and did a little water and took a picture.

Thank you. I have been a member for a year and read a lot of forums about growing. The box is shut but light still escapes. It is just a diaper box that i put a towel over at night. haha. Im only using a 1600 lumen cfl how long should i keep my plant under this light? I live in hawaii and the light here is incredible. I know the plant will start to change from veg to flower under the 12/12 of outdoor.

OK.....for starters, why is your plant in a glass? Get a real pot with drain holes. Second, what soil is that? Third, as mentioned, get a timer and some decent lights. And last but not least, read everything you can on this site. Growing cannabis is different but very similar to growing anything. Proper soil, proper lighting, proper nutrients at the proper time and patience. You need to read alot. Not trying to be negative, but you need to absorb alot of information.

you clearly are being negative with your post. As i previously stated i have been a member for a year and have read all sort of methods to grow. I currently plan to take a cutting off this starter when it is ready and put it in a dwc system. I plan on getting a 600w hps for flower but currently cant afford it. the cup is a water bottle that of course has drain holes in it. the soil is starter soil that i am going to change to fox farm ocean mix soon.

Plant looks good! I would def get it out of that cup though and into a bigger pot with drain holes. Twisting leaves is usually an indication the ph is out of wack but it looks good. another member on here says all the time. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

And like trippy trappy says you'll kill your roots. From what i've read if light can penetrate the pot into the soil it promotes the growth of algae.
