when you start to feed dont give a full dose give at least half for the first few and then gradually get up there to a full dose age there s many other ways also some guys always feed but in lower dosages i did water feed ,water, feed ,water, water, feed ,water , but thats part of the fun in growing you can do what ever you want!never tried that product looks alright though you can use it all the way through you grow also i have something similar called zenzyme but theres no plant food in it and for that i use a two part solution which i have to buy from the same brand for flowering this time around which willl be optimum a and b for coco and from time to time i will throw in some floranova bloom which is pretty awesome stand alone nutrient(good for carbohydrates) with some big bud for flowering. but thats just me im only on my second grow, gud luck

6500 mostly, I think for a bit I had a few 5500, but then upgraded to a 43 watt 6500k... now I got a bunch lying around to use as I see fit
I tried to find a 43 watt at walmart.com yesterday, and it said "out of stock", I thought that was kinda funny. I'll be watching your young un grow. Trying some worm castings myself for organic fertilization aid. Found a place where I got enough for a couple plants for $2.49 and discovered it's much cleaner than bat poop. lol

nlblue: try amazon.com I spent a little over $10 and found some pretty decent 43w'ers. I went around to Osh, Home Depot, Vons and I found a few 43w but all the wrong spectrum for veg (2700k). I would order online if you still want one... 1000bulbs is supposed to be decent as well.

thanks man. Amazon had the best prices for 6500k. did she start branching before or after you added the MH?

Check out page 1 of my journal... you can see the growth up to the point before I added the 400w... you can grow for a while with CFLs but you need to keep the lights close (1-2 inches to the foliage) and might experience a little more stretching if they are too far away

The transplant has been just what my baby needed... seriously some explosive growth since the move; undergrowth, new branching, and leaf growth... I knew she would pull through. A few tips I couldn't be happier... will post some new shots in the next day or two

Looks great I have a few northern lights on day 34 today as well. It is about the same height but is fimmed so the top is expansive. I hope it's a female...

So I'm not totally sure, but its looks like she really is a female... closely checked most of the stems and found tiny little hairs at the base. I know usually you have to wait to flowering to know the sex but is is possible she's showing now? If someone could give confirmation on this that would be great... woot woot!

oh and I added some custom lit shots that I took last night... was so stoned! :bigjoint:

So I decided today was a good day to do some cloning. I'm starting with two as I'm not sure how it will turn out (total noob here). I made sure everything was clean and sterile and now they are under a moisture dome (plastic pitcher), which is lit by some 23w CFLs in a cabinet. I included a few shots of the setup and them in their new home. :weed:

go right ahead... I might post a few pics of the clones today... they are a little droopy, but I'm pretty sure its nothing to be worried about. I'm gonna wait it out a little till they get adjusted
