idk not close enough pic. looks good from there but cant be real sure without those magnified HD vision lol ..but when u are rdy to chop i was saying give it 2 days dark itll tighen the buds up.


actually dude i see some amber in there i wud give it the 2 days of dark tonight when they r suppose to go off. and chopp thursday morning!!

I tried to get as best as I could I even used a magnifying with my iPhone lol.
She sleeps at 7 I'll shut it off then!

ok so lets put it this way, u can try and chop "Hope" perfect but she will not compare what so ever to ur next harvest because u are upgrading and learning so much as u go, "Hope" didnt exactly get that chance so idk if trying to "perfect" the harvest is going to make all that much of a big difference come now. So i would throw her in dark for the last 2 days and chop her like dutchmaster says. if u want to perfect her id let it grow past 4/20. Just count on those mushroom heads man, thats about as perfect as u can get.

i think someone already said it on here, if the mushroom heads are clear, too early, if they are cloudy, just right, if they are amber and the heads are curling down then too late (not exactly too late, some ppl like they're smoke like this, but most ppl chop in the middle for good reason right), its always nice to have a big grow with clones and mothers, then u can test out ur strain many different ways to perfection.

Well I know we all know "hope" is nowhere near perfect! But I can try and do my best. If I had tried chopping her a week or so ago I would have probably been disappointed, but she is smelling so good. Only 2 hours or so left until nighttime. Then the fun begins. Thanks for the input guys, and good to see you're still around Gibbs!

Well it's been 48 hours since I turned the lights off for "hope" she smells lemony! It's hard to smell her from afar in my closet because it's fairly spacious but when you get close it smells. The buds got pretty dense. I undid my string and it bent straight over. Letting it have a little bit more time with the fan up on high and then thinking about cutting her down tonight.

Nice to hear she came out nice.. after all she's been through! Harvest your rewards for giving her a home and the care she needed. "Hope" it smokes beautifully!

So would you agree with me wanting to chop her tonight? Or would you give her til the morning.
I got the interview with the head shop finally. That'll treat my newer plants quite nicely once I get the job. Doesn't hurt to be confident eh? lol

I don't think it would make that big of a difference whether you chop her tonight or tomorrow mate... just go ahead with it! Best of luck with your interview. I'm sending all my good vibes to you!

nice bro. looks like a good harvest ill guess at 17 dried grams ;-) which aint bad for what u were working with..maybe 20

Nice one bro... i see that you hadn't manicured the buds when you took the pics. Did you do it later on? Cause it's much easier to remove all the fan leaves and some long folliage around the bud when it's just chopped and then remove a bit more folliage when it dries out, so you can go deeper in the bud to remove as much as possible!...

I got a 2nd interview with the head shop.
They saw my grow and like that I'm doing it with CFLs lol.

Looks like I should be getting this job.

I have been manicuring them as its been drying. I had to get her hung up and took pics right away :roll:

You should be getting the job there! Have your friend put in a good word for you... They already know your passion & enthousiasm if they've seen your grow. Fingers crossed mate!

Friend has already given a word. I should hear by Monday or so.

My plant has responded to the topping well. It's already recovered and is back to growing!

Hopefully I'll get my closet back in a few days. I hung up "hope" last night so the faster she'll dry the better.
