The whole point of breeding santa and speedy is because they are both autoflowering strains, that ensures that my seeds will be auto too right?
The rest of the Fem's I have are very young and non autoflowering strains. Im going to try and store some Santa Pollen and donate a few buds of my non auto fems to trying to convert them to auto's. I just dig the whole 60-90days having my own grown sack. i would love to have a few 100 homebred auto seeds for outdoors next year, that would ensure me a nice continuous harvest for my personal use.

I havent experienced much with autoflowers- really I dont know much about them. It sounds that if you breed two autoflowers you will get an autoflower. Not sure on that gene. They just decide to flower whenever they want to?

i dont know too much more than you do, all i know is that its 70-80days from seed to harvest and they show sex at week 3. Yeild about 45g per plant. Its just that "in between" smoke i guess is how you would put it, takes atleast 4 months to grow a full size plant, 2 months for these, so i get little bits to smoke while im waitin for my big harvests.

Just think, an auto OG kush or auto super lemon haze, imagine the possiblities.

Right on, i have to try an auto strain some time. I have so many strains going- i only have time for this other grow because I already harvested everything. 13 different strains bro- plus a ton more in seed and seedling form. You should check out my grow journal to tell me which genetics you like. That grow journal has lots of good pictures that are labeled- was up for the last grow and the grow before that. I have so many seeds around here that i feel retarded paying for seeds. I like to breed and try my creations, there isnt much room for any outsiders right now. lol.

My grandma was the first one to ever blaze me up, back when i lived with her, 14years later she lives with me and we are both still blazin, she likes bud porn too lol. She literally asked me if we could get a plane ticket and come meet you when she seen the pics you posted of the bubba...Only part she doesnt like is that we have to pay $30 a gram for shit like that around here

I hated the idea of autos too until I ordered real genetics for the first time. I got two free autos; the Haze Auto turned out female. After I thought about it, I think I'm order a few autos every crop.

Hah right on! You are right on the path of growing that stuff man...no more paying for it. The autos wont give that tho.

Thats why ive got the Acapulco Gold, Super Lemon Haze, Bubba Kush, Afghan Kush, and Red Diesel goin. Im hoping for atleast 2 good mothers out of all of them.

Everything is looking good. I wonder what that slight leaf curl if around border of the fan leaves. I have seen this in my garden at seedling stage before as well. I think it may be heat stress...i see it the most in speedy.

The afghan family looks hungry for nitrogen- unless a light green is natural for this strain. This may be an indication that this strain requires a bit more nutrients. Just keep that in mind.

What nutrients are you using again? Are you using any supplements?

yeah i had heat problems for the first week, now im sittin steady at about 80.

The Afghans seem to be an autumn colored strain, giving yellow and orange tones in 9/10's of the pics Ive seen.

Im just using foxfarm Ocean Forest Mix, Fox Farm Bat Guano and Worm Castings, High quality top soil, and perlite. I havent added any nutrients as far as feeding the soil or plants. Only a drop of superthrive for every 2.5 gallons of water used to water between them all.

I have Some powder Quickgrow and quickgrow bud, along with some liquid flora micro grow.


Should I be balancing the PH on my water i water them with? The ph is 7 on my spring water.

they are in 2 and 3 gallon grow bags, do you think this is big enough or do i need to go larger?

The size of your grow container all depends on how long you plan on vegging. How big are you letting these plants get before you flip the lights? 2-3 gallons should be good for medium sized plants. You should test ph of water after adding nutrients.

The two quickgrows should get your hydro plants through...complete balanced diet.

You dont have any P or K in your soil feeding program. The flora micro is good for micro nutrients which is anything other than N P or K. Have you done your research on NPK? The flora micro has good amounts of N but plants will need P and K even in veg. You will need to start thinking of a soil flowering nutrient. Since you already have one bottle of the flora series you may think about getting the other two. Not sure how often you check your ph but it should be checked before every water. Dont assume ph remains at 7...it is constantly changing. It is good to let your water sit out a day before using it. Also add an airstone- this will aerate water, and plants roots do need oxygen (hence perlite) Every time i water i fill up a 5 gallon bucket and have it ready (dechlorinated) for next water. Vinegar and baking soda can be used to lower or raise ph.

Ocean forest will give nutrients for about 3 weeks. Fox farm bat guano- is it high Phos bat guano? 0-5-0? If so this is a good source for phosphorus....needed small amounts in veg and large amounts in flower. the earth worm castings should give you some good micronutrients and help plant to fight against pests and diseases.
