First grow pictures.

A side and top view of my first grow. This strain is Liberty Haze, a cross of G13 male with a Chem Dawg 91, which won the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2011. I have five seeds, so I'm growing one indoors for the hell of it. I planted it about three weeks ago. For soil I'm using yard dirt, and horse crap as fertilizer. Occasionally, I'll put some miracle-grow on it. I've just recently been able to get more lights, so now I have five 70 watt lights on it. I moved it from the grow area in order to take the pictures. Just looking for some feed-back, input, and advice. Tell me what you think? Thanks!

There is no "leaning" towards dude...either it IS or ISN'T actual wattage. So 70 equiv is about 16 ACTUAL watts I believe, meaning your only running 80 watts of light to your plant. So despite your confidence in your other post, you do NOT have enough light, and the stretching clearly shows. Actual wattage is what counts, and when your using CFL's, keep the lights about 3 inches away from the plant. I'd look into LST'ing if I were you

I'd say you've def don't have enough light, your plant is stretched way too much, get some higer watage lights and place them as close as possible.

Well, remember, this is my first grow. I checked the lights to make sure and I have a correction: They're 75 watt lights actual. Appreciate the input.

The seeds are guaranteed female, according to the company I purchased them from. The spacing is most likely my fault by having the light too high above it. From the looks of it I'll have to save up for some more higher wattage lights.

if each bulb is 75 of actual wattage and not equivalent, then 5 bulbs for one plant should be enough, you just need to get them closer. And you'll need a fan as well so you don't get too much heat build up.

Remember your plant will only grow as big as the roots can feed it. More roots better bigger plant. How much space do u have. I would invest in an hps light. But u need cooling for it. If u use cfls put them close to the plant may have to move them daily.
