The main thing is that the pot / plant shouldn't sit in runoff water because it can cause problems with the roots. I don't think leaving runoff water will cause mold but it's best to get rid of it. You can even grab a turkey baster or big syringe and suck the water out.

They are really starting to pick up steam, these babies grow amazingly fast.

That close up looks like it to me, but I'm not a pro. I waited until I saw a pistil before deciding mine were flowering. Are yours autoflower? I don't think you mentioned it anywhere..
