First grow plants curling down and yellowing

I did not mix it with anything else it has perlite in it but I didn’t add any, the temp in the tent I have the thing on the ground it says 78 degrees.
If you think you were overwatering , you may have depleted the soil. I use fox farms but noticed better results when I mix it with extra perlite for drainage. Especially young when the roots are “rooting” without oxygen and overwatering , they damp off or droop. May think about a topdress/starting nuets/transplant to fresh soil. If that’s what’s going on .

Also I’d put your temp/rh meter , at plant level off to the side not directly under your light. And what’s the ph of your water ?

I try to keep it somewhere around 6-6.5 I’ll try topdressing also to see what happens if not I’ll transplant them, what nutrients would you recommend?

Update I pulled one out to transplant and it looked like it was starting to get root bound there was a thin circle of roots around the bottom of the pot. Where should i go from here? Also the dirt seemed pretty dry throughout the whole pot

Up pot it. Was it in less than a 1gal? Then I’d put it in a 1gal fabric pot. Dampen the soil before you put the plant in. Not soaked. Then a light water when done.

As for nuets I use liquid Humboldts Secret, but it’s all personal preference imo with nuets. Ocean forest is kinda hot with Nitrogen and others. If your transplanting I wouldn’t add anything else to it yet except the soil
* I only use a root enzyme and Golden Tree on young seedlings/early veg

Noted,It’s in a pot that’s 6 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall, I’m going to order a gallon pot , will I need to up pot after that? Or can it stay in the 1 gal the rest of its days?

No , smaller pot =smaller plant yield most of the time. I usually go cup-1gal-3gal and then 5 gal sometimes

Fabric pots seems to help with getting you used to proper watering. Helps with the dry cycle too. Just easier imo

I use these throughout the entire grow. Taper at the end but have had no probs with the line of nuets . I swear by Golden Tree. Smells like horrible shitty eggs but it works

You think I can fit 2 plants in 1 gallon pots in my 16x16 tent or should I just try and stick with one ? I’m definitely going to get some fabric pots. I really appreciate your help also

No prob on the helpish, that’s a small tent. What strain? And also with that light, you’ll get stretch like a mo-fo. So if your not adding or getting something better , I’d stick with one plant.
Indica usually shorter and with a decent light you can keep 2 shorter maybe scrog with that size tent .. will be packed tho

I prefer planting sprouted seeds into nursery trays, then to a 2.5 quart plastic pot or 2 gallon bag to veg for 2 weeks. After that, I transplant to a 5 gallon fabric pot. I've used 1 and 3 gallon fabric pots, but they are difficult to transplant from and you end up chopping off some roots. The plastic pots IMO are much better for keeping the soil wet for young plants. In my experience, fabric pots under 5 gallons are difficult to keep wet and the roots begin air pruning too soon, inhibiting profound root growth. Everyone has their own preferences. You will find what works for you... until then, its all trial and error.

The strain is stoned owl, I plan on ordering a new light along with the gallon pots and such, any recommendations on a light?

I have made 2 runs with exactly same light before I found out its leaking light in the corners. But produced great dense buds!
That light is 130w from the wall and will do just fine for Veg, but yeah not so much for flower.. Larfy/loose buds
Their newer XS series or even the older Pro series mich better option and will flower 1-2 plants fine depending on series/model size :joint:

Here we go lol .. if you want a lot of options and opinions maybe start a new thread with the title what led to buy. You’ll get some answers for sure lol.
look for “white light” leds. Like stated before from someone, Mars Hydro , spider farmer, Vipar xs , HLG . I prefer samsung diodes. Which these all use. The newer models at least so. It’s really up to your budget and if you plan on upgrading your tent size
For reference; I use 2 - viparspectra xs2000 in a 4x4 with other supplemental for flower

If I had the room I would have probably transplanted the first time into a bigger pot I wasn’t sure how my space would effect me, Definitely trial and error I thought they were doin good for the first week then they started looking bad
