Hey all!

This is my first grow and first post here on rollitup.com!

Lets get to it. We're on day 4 here with the new seedlings (started in towels then rockwool) actually put in the bucket, pumps and lights blazing 24/7. I started adding nutes to the bucket earlier today - it's about 15 gal so I added about 4 teaspoon MaxiGrow (it was cheep).

Right now, ph is at about 5.5 (ini have a liquid tester)

I do have a couple questions for some growers of more experience; is that enough nutrients to start out with? How should I add them in the future? and are these plants the right height for this amount of time?

I will update continually through the process with new pictures and a (hopefully) good story. Please post! :peace:

Update:

We are at the two week mark right now, so i thought i'd update my log:

the lowryder 2s are on the right and the "G13 Armegeddon" is on the left.

I still have nutes in the water even though i was advised otherwise. I will be changing water out tommorow.

They seem to kind of be leaning awkwardly, any suggestions?

hey dude, jet thought I would let you know that LRs are really sensitive to nutes, I didn't really go over 1300 my whole grow. They really thrived at that level and any higher they began showing signs of nute burn.

Good luck, Im subbed.

hey man, pick up an emergency blanket at a department store (usually $2) and its made of mylar. in the camping area, pocket sized. mylar is highly reflective. or buy a roll of mylar. I suggest 2mm because its thicker and easier to handle/less of a chore to work with.

and welcome to the forums

Aight, first update here in a while. My plants have exploded! The lowryder 2's are about 2 1/2 feet tall right now. The G13 random seed looks stunted but that strain will grow to be taller in the end.

It looks like Im going to have to tie them to the sides because of space constraints.

I do have one question: if one plant is not supposed to be switched to flower but im running flower nutes for the other two, is that okay. Lighting is fine; im running it 20 / 4 .

Thanks!

i dont exactly understand what your askin?? and if your not on 12.12 then its not necessary to run the 2700 k cfls better to run the daylight 6500k till flower is switched on. the lack of blue light 6500k will promote stretching.

you shouldnt be giving a plant flowering nutes if its not in the flowering stage im pretty sure it will result in a smaller yeild

hello!

the plants are at about 2 weeks into their flowering stage right now...

so... i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on when to chop them and harvest/cure.

is it okay to tear off some of the top colas and let the rest continue to flower? could/should it be done this way? it tastes great when i quick dried some buds.

please get back to me!

ps. pictured up close are the top 2 colas of the plants
