I germinated the seed til the root sprouted about half an inch out or so and then I planted it in potting soil, That was 4(almost 5) days ago and I'm beginning to get worried.here are some pics.

They just have the seed shell on them. They should discard it in a day or two...probably. Looks pretty standard so far...Do you have multiple seeds in one pot?

It isn't unfortunately the shell because when I germinated it, the embryo sprouted completely out of it. And no, just that one.

Yeah, it's like the inner coating of the seed shell. That's what it looks like to me. Sometimes they take a little extra coaxing to get out, but it should shrug it off in the next 36 hours.

Okay thanks. I'll be planting two more plants soon. and was wondering how deep I should plant them in the soil? provided they germinate out of the shell

      • I just planted a vanilla kush seedling and the root was curled upward so i dint know how to plant it. so i tried the best i could. Then i check the soil a few hours later and the cotyledons already started sprouting, but they are going down and not up.
Any idea on how I would plant this?? Or is it too late?

        • Help would greatly be appreciated. This is my first grow and I think i'm running out of time.

Dude. You can easily plant that seedling still. Smarten up and check your germinations more often buddy. Clearly you left it in paper towel long enough for it to root in to it. Very stupid to let the bare root be seen by light. And taking pictures. WTF? Probably killed the, poor lil bastards.

Next time just let it grow in some dirt and see what happens.

you give little to none information on the seedlings and what you have done with them since they sprouted.

Like i said, looks like you fawked them.

I've been having a hard time with finals and my brother being in the hospital, that's why I haven't been able to keep up with them as well as I'd like to. If you think it could easily be planted still, how would you do it? Would you put the green in the soil or would you plant it slightly above?
