First Grow Scrog Ak-47??

Hi all, This is my first ever grow and am a little confused as to how to trim my plant below the screen.. I have been heavily lst'ing this baby from seed as i have been waiting for the funds to purchase my equipment.. its the middle of winter here now where i am and she has been outside during the day and under 2x 130w cfl veg bulbs at night for about 12 weeks now... For the last 4 nights she has been under a 600w MH under the screen i built...
As far as i know, i was told the seed was ak-47 but not real sure..

I like what i'm seeing. Continue to keep the foliage below the screen, training the main branches to the outer edges of the screen. I would go into 12/12 or 10/14, or what ever light cycle your going to use, now. The plant looks like it genetically leans to the sativa side, and it may stretch like a mofo. I like to remove half, to 3 quarters of the leaf and buds below the screen, 2 weeks after I go into flower. This is when I take what ever clones I want, I finish cleaning out the foliage at day 30 of flower, this gives me a last chance to take clones. Keep threading buds up, and moving budsites into different openings, for the first 30 days of flower. How your plant scrogs, and the amount of undergrowth you have to remove is kind of strain dependent. I flower with a 400 hps, so I pretty much, strip away all foliage 2 feet below my light, and that more than likely, is down to the screen. If I'm doing indicas', and they stay short, ill strip away only that plant matter, that is 2 feet down from my light source, and that sometimes leaves some vegetation below the screen. Right now I have some stretchy ass hybreds that are 2 ft above my screen so I've cleaned out everything below. In my experience, you have to scrog the same strain out a few times to know exactly what its gonna do. I change up strains every 2 or three grows so for me it's constant guesswork.

Thanks chickengutz.. My screen size is roughly 40"x40" so you think if i was to flip my lights to 12/12 now it would fill the entire screen??
I also have 2 smaller plants i would like to include in the scrog if possible when i transplant to bigger pots tomorrow..
If i would want bigger buds should i fill more of the screen first??
I have 1x 600wMH for veg and 1x 600wHPS and if needed 2x 130w cfl 6400k and 2700k for flower..
Oh i forgot i also have 4x Auto Ak-47 that have just sprouted..

Looking good OP; let her veg until the screen is roughly 75% filled then switch. Most people tend to say 50% but I do 75% because it easier to trim back some overgrowth (actually I never trim, I just super crop or LST some more) then wish you had a little more veg time ;-)

For your next run get rid of the twine and use something that will not end up in your bud, you are going to have to work extra hard when trimming to remove the twine fibres or you may get some odd smelling (when burning) bud.

regards,

Shit!! I never thought about the twine fibres getting caught in my bud, Thanks for the advice.
I will definitely use something else next run..
I also put the two smaller plants in larger pots and added them to the screen...
