First grow - Seeds disappeared!

Hi, I recently received some Lowryder and Indica (unknown mix) seeds, and I planted 10 of the Indica, (after germinating, of course) and then, about 4-5 days later, the seeds just... disappeared. It never sprouted, and when I poked a little hole in the dirt to see what was going on with the seeds, they just weren't there.

I planted to more seeds. But I don't really know what I did wrong...

Insight please?

That's what I thought, too. But there were no holes or anything there that would be a sign of squirrels or birds... I might have buried them too deep, maybe 1 inch... but I germinated some more, so... I'll see how those go.

Still when soething comes out of soil or dirt the dirt "WALL" COLLAPSES LEAVING NO EVIDENCE OF SUMTHING BEING THERE BUT MONITER the ones you just planted
