First Grow Setup - Need Some Help Tweaking Please - Pics!

Hi, I literally have browsing these forums pretty extensively for about a week and have already learned loads of knowledge here at RIU and am happy such a great community exists!

I am in the works of creating a nice little cabinet with an Aerogarden to put in my closet. I am posting here for some assistance, as well as assurance that I will be doing everything correctly, and maybe my operation will help others as well.

I am creating my own little cabinet, which I hope can be discrete (quiet and non-smelling is the goal)

Buckle up this may be a bumpy ride lol

-- Specs –
I am thinking of putting about 3 Lowryders in this Aerogarden, since it is a compact design(or can it hold more?_. Also, maybe have a soil pot next to it with one additional plant. (This is a question below)





Here is what I have gathered so far:
-One cabinet - 18W x 34.5H x 24D (Menards - $60)
-Aerogarden Elite Spacesaver 6 (Ebay - $60)
- 90W FULL SPECTRUM TRIBAND LED UFO light (Ebay - $125)
(Made up of 70 x 1 Watt RED LEDs, 10 x 1 Watt BLUE LEDs, and 10 x 1 Watt Warm White LEDs)
* Wavelength of Red LEDs: 660nm
* Wavelength of Blue LEDs: 460nm
* Warm White LEDs

Here is what I am planning on purchasing:

-24 hour light timer
-Figure 8 power cord (sold at RadioShack)
-Aquarium Pump & Airstone(s)
-Spring water
-pH tester / adjustment kit
-A Digital Thermometer
-Mylar
-Nutrients
-Fan
-Intake


Here is what I need help with if possible:

-(Fan) How big of a fan do I need for this? Do I need a carbon filter? (I am kind of in the dark about this, I saw this fan+carbon filter combo, although it seems to be a little costly. -(Intake) What kind of Intake should I purchase? Same as fan?

-(Lighting) Should I turn my UFO light on from the beginning? Or wait until ready to flower? Also, I have read that the AG’s default lights are enough for the veg stage

-How many seeds should I plant in this Aerogarden? Seeing as how it is a more compact design, I am thinking of putting about 3 Lowryders in there, and maybe have a soil pot next to it with one additional plant (unless not suggested?)

-(Nutrients) Which nutrients to buy (Heard Foxfarm Trio is legit, Flora Nova, or should I purchase stock AG tablets? Also, do I need different types for both stages?)

I'm looking to do the same/similar setup as you (probably slightly bigger because I want to produce 4-5 ounces a month steadily so I need to figure out how big of a box I'm going to need for this). I will be following your posts if you plan to keep a grow journal?

Yeah, I actually do plan on keeping a grow journal, but it will be a little bit most likely. I am still in the gathering materials / putting it all together stages, but it sounds like you are too. Hope we can both accomplish our dreams lol.

What amount are you attempting to grow by chance? Where are you going to keep your clone/veg group at?

lol Honestly I don't really know what to expect as a yield, This is kind of an experiment as this is my first op, and I haven't chosen strains or anything. This cabinet is goin in the closet.

I have decided I am going to purchase the Supernatural Aqua line for the nutes, but am still unsure about the fan size I would use for this size of a cab for the Intake and Exhaust, could anyone help me out please?
