Hi

This is my first attempt at growing so any tips or advice is welcome :) I've read a lot of forums and guides over the years and now have the opportunity to finally give it a go!

Indica strains-

Big Budah Cheese x3
DNA Rocklock x1 (started with x2 of these but it didn't sprout unfortunately)
Supersonic Crystal Storm x1

I've got x2 El Alquimista and x1 DNA rocklock in the veg chamber, they are about 5 days in from seed.

Neuts-

Hesi root complex
Hesi Soil Grow TNT Complex
Hesi Soil Bloom Complex

I have been using distilled water from the start, usually left for at least 24 hours.

Equipment-

x1 Budbox XL - 120cm x 120cm x 200cm
x1 Budbox Small - 75cm x 75cm x 100cm
x1 RUCK Fan & Rhino Pro Filter With Acoustic Ducting - 4 inch (285m3)
x1 Large Parabolic Grow Light with 600W Dual Spectrum Lamp
x1 Budget 125W CFL System With 125W Blue Lamp
x1 Euro Grow Light with 250W Dual Spectrum Lamp (used this for a few days before the 600w)

Up to now it's been quite straight forward, current temps are 15/60f lights off and 25/77f lights on. The humidity is 45 lights on and 80 lights off, the filter is on 24/7. I was a bit worried about it being so high with the lights off but the plants don't seem to be effected. The DNA (middle back in the group picture) looks a little worse for where tho, not sure what is wrong but he looks in a bad way. Any ideas?

I don't have any pics from the seedling stages so am starting from here, like I said these were planted from seed exactly 5 weeks ago. All photos are taken from my phone so sorry if the quality is bad in any of the pics..

The rig! As this is in my loft I was having trouble with the filter vibrating though the floor into the second bedroom, so I suspended it from a rafter using some straps I had laying around. Now it can't be heard at all once the hatch is shut :)

Plenty of room for expansion

Some bends in the ducting

Group shot! It was hard to get a decent shot of them together without those annoying lines..

A couple shots of the Supersonic

Couple shots of one of the cheese

Finally a couple shots of the poorly DNA.. I don't know whats up with him, hopefully someone will have seen this before?

I had x2 more cheese in the veg tent but they didn't sprout so am left with these.

I had to re-pot these recently from standard pots, that's why one of the Alquimista is sunk into the soil. The soil was very dry and it fell away right at the wrong moment..

Thanks for stopping in, I'll update with pics as much as possible!

Day 37. Temp is 23/74 and humidity is 45

The flower room was watered 2 days ago and felt a little moist when I stuck my finger in, so will water them tomorrow. I've been giving them roughly 1 litre each every third day at 1/2 strength neuts. Noticed quite a lot of run off so think 1/2 a litre will be enough. The babies I water every other day.

I forgot to say in my op that the veg room is running 24/7 under the 125w cfl, and the flower room is on 12/12 for 4 days. At some point I want to take some clones but not entirely sure what plant to take from and when...

Took some more pics but will leave it a few days in between as I didn't notice much difference tbh. The DNA still looks terrible but seems to be holding in there for now :)

Front left is cheese, front right is supersonic, back right is cheese, back centre is the DNA and back left is cheese again. Got some standing water in there too, will it be ok if I just left it?

Just before lights on.

Lights on, supersonic,

Cheese

DNA

Babies

Does anyone know what might be making the DNA look so terrible? I'm hoping it will burst into life now it's in flower mode..

Day 38. Temp is 29/84 and humidity is 49.

Watered them with 1/2 litre water per plant this time, still only 1/2 strength neuta. Thinking about upping to full strength at some point soon but don't want to burn them.. Had frost on the car this morning, its really cold here atm.. Hopefully they will be ok as the lights are of at 5am - 5pm while at work.Am going to get a timer for the veg room this weekend and put them on 18/6 or 20/4.

I want to keep them quite small as I plan to take cuttings for the next grow. What light cycle is better for controlling height? 18/6 or 20/4?

hey good grow dude, where are we at with this i am curious to know! im all for parabolics, simply because they give the best light spread along with heat spread :D

btw, are you sure these are up to day 38? this is like 5+ weeks, ur plants look only 2/3 weeks old???

good going though for first grow :D x

Thanks for the comments. Sorry I've not been back to the thread, it's been pretty busy and don't have much free time at the moment..

A lot has happened since my last post. The pic on day 38 was correct, at the time temps were -4 here and I think they got a bit stunted.

The dodgy looking DNA turned out to be male so I killed it off.. I've cropped down the SCS auto already, got about 1 oz and it smokes ok so am quite happy. The 3 Cheese are in the last stages of flower, think I'll start flush this week.

In with the cheese are x4 fruity chronic juice and x1 madness. They have been in flower for about a week and were vegged for 3 weeks in the clone tent. I kept a chronic back to keep as a mum, she's in with the alquimista under cfl. Hopefully will use cuttings from them for the next grow.

I am giving the cheese 2ltr every other day at full strength neuts - hesi bloom complex and hesi Phosphorus Plus. The mums and the chronic are on half strength hesi TNT, apx 1ltr every third day.

Here are some pic's from a weeks or so ago, will try to upload some more at some point.

The cheese just before the chronic go in

I decided to cut down two of the cheese today, it was getting a bit crowded in the flowering room.

Will give the last cheese a bit longer, can't see any brown on her yet..
