First grow Start to Finish... pics!

Whatup guys as the title says. Shit was random ass bagseed... hermied a decent amount, has some seeds, grown in MG, poor yield, probably premature. LOL

But who gives a fuck right??! I got one grow under my belt and I learned a shit ton. I've learned a lot including: light leaks kill, bagseed sucks, drying and curing is key.


Got a nice purple color though doesn't it? I call it Roethlispurple... Quick dried a few buds and let me tell you, it smokes awesome, and is actually surprisingly smooth for the quick dry! Definetely a hybrid because you can feel it everywhere. Had me cracking jokes while I was stuck to the couch, can't complain about that! Can't wait until it's cured that's gonna be much better.

All in all I'd say I got about an OZ? not sure I don't and won't have a scale. This is all personal. Got some LR #2's going I will upload some pics of those soon.

Grown under CFL's.. first a plant and aquarium 4' footer for basically the entire grow, then some 2700k 26watters cause I realized the 4 footer might not have been the proper spectrum.

No nutes at all! Other than what was in the soil already.

Under veg I'm using a shitty two foot lights of america thing. Never paid much attention to the K scale but it's actually 4200K. Not what you're supposed to use but hey it worked so fuck it. 60 watts on the thing (not true watts). Vegged for roughly a month..

Prolly got about a foot tall... then I started flowering under the lights described in the first post. For the first month and a half of flower I used that 4' "plant and terrarium" light. Mixed spectrum bulb... prolly fucked up the plants potential most as I had it at the top of the plant and the lower bud sites weren't getting anything. For the last half month of the grow I put 3 26w and 3 13w lights on it positioned at strategic angles around the plant. That helped a lot.

You can grow weed any way you want. Sure you can get bigger & better buds but you can still grow smokable stuff with next to nothing.

Guess there's a reason they called it weed eh?

My grow was very good & I did ever thing wrong (except get advice on here as to waiting to harvesting) Miracle Grow soil, shop lights from start to finish, crap nutrients 5-30-5 & some fish emulsion ect.

Started number 2 got proper soil from hydro store, FLoroBloom nutrients, HPS lights, ungraded fan ect. If the other buds I grew with all the wrong stuff was good, this SHOULD be hands down better.

The whole thing was really an experiment and once it started to actually work I'm addicted hahah... I'd love to get an HPS but don't have the funds right now, and I know based on some of the grows in this forum I can pull something very respectable off, even with CFL's.

I now have to focus and hone my skills with soil, nutes, and pH and whatnot. Quick question, how does one pH their soil? Do you dip a test strip (the only type of pH reader I'm familiar with) down into wet soil? Or what?



I've got these LR#2 going.. and I'm having some issues I didn't encounter with the first grow, namely those yellowing crinkly leaves and the few brown and yellow spots in the other leaves... I added some Osmocote 19-6-12 a few days ago because I thought it might be a N problem, but I'm open to suggestions.

LR's were planted on 10/9 and showed sex 10/27. amazing little guys they've been under 24 hour lights the whole time! and only 5 - 8" lolol..
