Hey man, plants are looking good. One thing I noticed though is that your using a clear bottle for your pot in that first pic. I am sure it is temp but you will either want to transplant or wrap the outside of the bottle so light can not get to your roots. I'm not sure how quick it can start causing problems but I would switch pots before you find out.
Flowering straight from the go pretty much huh? Interesting.. I will be curious to see how these do as I was going to do that until I said fuck it and gave em a bit. Good deal- ill be checking back.

all is good one plant has shot up after i gave the some superthrive and i think i over watered the other here are some pics n e opinions
I thought the pics looked great man. I don't see over watering issue's. Your plants are doing just as good as mine was at that age.

i am still not sure when to give nutes need some opinions
A lot of people swear by not giving nutes for the first two weeks. That is the safest route to go. Personally, so far in hydro I find it easier to let your plants talk to you and adjust accordingly. Soil is a little different and I am not as familiar. Some soils have nutes in them from the go, since you haven't mentioned what kind of soil you are using.. I don't really know if it does or not. If I was you, I would not give any Nutes for two weeks OR until you see a slight yellowish color in the leaves, more towards the inside. That will tell you they are running out of Nutes and need to be fed. Be sure your pH is I think right around 7 for soil. Hydro is 5.8. That way you know the discoloration isn't from pH problems. Keep it up

My first grow was in soil. It was before I did any research and thought if I got a 300w Halogen bulb over the plant it would grow great.. It grew.. Real tall but was mostly stretched. Over 8ft tall and that was in soil and I NEVER once fed any kind of Nutes. I think I was using Miracle Grow also at the time. I didn't have perlite or any other shit either. Like I said, I knew nothing about growing then and never took the time to research. I think soil is a little more forgiving and great for anyone... But if you CAN set up a hydro bubbler or something I would recommend it. If you do though, be SURE to get a PPM Pen.. You can get them from E-bay for 20 bucks. Now that I tried Hydro there is no possible way I would grow in soil again. Unless its outside of course... good luck

is it ok to use lava rocks instead of hydroton? i cant find n e
As far as I know, any PH Neutral medium will work. Hydroton is very good because it has some absorption but also very good drainage. I do not know the specifics of Lava Rocks but you could order a bag offline, I have to drive about an hour and fifteen to my "local" Hydro store. Sucks but just plan to make only a few trips. Luckily I work about halfway so its not as far if I just go after work.

damn man uve been alot of help thx
No Prob man. In my last post, I made it a little unclear... I meant you can order a bag of Hydroton offline. In my current grow I am using ZeoPro in the center, and Hydroton around the ZeoPro to hold it in. The ZeoPro is this Medium Nasa's botanists created. It is suppose to retain water but it also releases small bubbles of oxygen/nutrients and does just as well draining. It is kind of interesting, I picked up a 50 lbs bag of it that will last me a lifetime. When I "soaked" my ZeoPro in my Nute Solution.. the water was bubbling and fizzing all night.. This stuff seems serious and my plants seem to be doing very well. There are many other types of Hydroponic mediums and basically anything CAN be used if it is pH Neutral... however some work a lot better than others at absorption and aeration/drainage, like hydroton.

Nah, I got the ZeoPro from this Garden/Fish store. He said he bought it a long time ago and then the place he got it from went out of business and he forgot about it. He said he would give me the whole bag for $20 because he was never going to use it. Said he paid a lot more for it and that he sold these little gallon baggie size bags for $15 ea.

The second picture doesn't look as bad, but looks like the start of over watering. The first pic however looks like it may be over watered. If it was anything with your nutes you would see some burns or discoloration, maybe tips curling but not the whole leaf like that. I would let the soil dry up and watch your plants leafs. When they start looking a little lighter color of green, water then again. I don't know what super thrive is but I have read a lot of people using it. I know I was giving my plants Nutes, small amount.. I think like 180-240ppm.. somewhere in there.. when they were about your plants size. Temperature could also do this however if temps where a prob. I think you would have mentioned it. I would just back off on watering until your plants perk up and start getting a lighter color.

Anytime I can be help, I will. Just my nature. These plants are VERY resilient so unless you literally DROWN them they will come back to their perky little self just maybe a little slower than normal. It seems everyone runs into little things like this growing a strain they haven't grown before. They'll be alright just give them a couple days to dry out and perk up.
