any possibility of a journal getting done there sobs? i love seeing what others ca do with these lights so fasinating :D

Yes there is I am just getting my whole setup together still. Going to order 1 light today and another sometime during september (taking your advice and going with 2X A200 in the tent I spoke of earlier). I have 6 Northern Lights seeds from Dr. Atomic I will start a journal and message you guys for further advice I am sure when I get started. Thanks again for the kind greetings to the forum!

Sobs, I'm finishing up an atomic northern lights right now. Check out my thread sometime, kick ass strain!

Stuff needed.
2 x 6 inch plastic duct ends (or whatever size your exhaust out is)
1 meter of plastic fencing
Gaffa tape
1 Towel
Some Orthopedic foam (or something similar)
some zip tags

ps - sorry to clog up your journal but you did ask:)

^^^Good stuff. I just did something similar to this a few weeks back. But I started with 6" ducting. Turns out the ducting wasn't very light proof so I wrapped it with some foam and finished with 3 beach towels and tape. Almost the same way you did. I wasn't aiming for noise reduction but was rewarded with that as well.

100th Post :bigjoint:

So i backed down on the koolbloom since it started to give a little burn on some leaves.

I got a small microscope that attaches to my iphone,
pics are a little blurry but here's a couple shots of the afghan skunk and jacks trichomes. as you can see, the skunk is starting to turn a little amber. anyone know when it would be a good time to start flushing? i think maybe in a couple days to a week at about 25% amber but id like a word from you guys! the jack itself doesn't seem to have as many trichs as the skunk, but i think its going to need to go a lot longer before its ready.

Started flushing the skunk on the 27th. still feeding the jack at full strength maxi every watering + a tiny pinch of koolbloom every once in a while. Cant wait until i move the skunk out of the tent since the jacks branches are all hanging to the sides drooping everywhere. i guess ill be chopping the skunk come monday, what do you guys think? i didnt come this far to screw up now :-P

looking very nice man , looking at the first and third pics i would say let em go for a bit longer maybe a week or two but the other shots look to have more darking hairs .... hard to say though either way the stuff looks great man congrats!

Looking good, Alex, You're close now.

Did you scope the buds yet? They look a little early to be chopping, As curly said. I'd say another week or two. But they look delicious!

hahahaahaha im an idiot guys! I wanted to chop the skunk but didnt put up any pictures of it for you to see :wall:

Thanks for the estimate on the jack though, ill try to snap some trichome pictures of each plant later on today!

So here are some close up pics of the afghan skunk which i was thinking about harvesting. its been about a week of flushing, the top cola contains most of the amber trichomes and is mostly cloudy, the rest of the plant though doesnt have many, if any amber and still looks a little clear in some spots. perhaps i will have to cut the top off first and wait for the bottom to go a little longer.

looks about right .... myself i look at a whole plant and determine if i think its done like that , i have a scope but i find it easier to just watch how the plant reacts later in flower when she gives me the right signs i give her the chop :D
