First grow using CFL- With pic's

I'm not 100% what the discoloration means but I had the same problem and it spiraled out of control and my plants have almost no pigment now.
The way that the plants is growing up like that means is show be closer to the light and have some side lighting. It could also mean you are watering to often.
Have you transplanted yet? Do you plan on transplanting soon?
Hope I could help! :)

She has got 4 bulbs within 2 inches of her, I plan to move to a bigger pot in about 5 days time. It may be a bit of over watering doing it but not sure.

Thanks for your help!

Any one else know what it might be?

UPDATE on grow,

So i has been 2 days since i last posted, She seem to be really taking off now! A few new sets of leaves have started to show but they are looking a little Yellow/green(photo attached).

Any ideas on what this could be and if it's normal, Sorry about the quality of pictures.

Thanks for your help people

I'd say it looks pretty good overall, might be strain quirk. Plant is pretty cool looking actually, seems to show its 'white' genetic heritage.
If there is a problem, my none too expert guess might be heat. See the occasional plant problem pics that show a plant with yellow edges.

Good to hear, i also though the same about the 'White' genetic.
I have a pc fan 10 inches above blowing down onto the plant, so id doubt that would be it.
Temp is roughly 80, Does over watering cause this problem?

Thanks for your help

Really doesn't look over watered, standing up quite straight. The only other item that comes to mind is water and ph. Didn't notice if you mentioned measuring ph, but if you haven't, do measure it. Can be the source of much grief if it strays into a bad place.

i had that happen with lights that were too close, try moving the light over one plant up, c if that plant recovers and if the others get worse then problem solved. i know people say 2 inches but diff strains have diff preferences, not saying this will solve the problem, if it doesn't hey then you know ur lights are good haha

Morning people,

I have just woken up to find my plant seems a little odd, Her leaves (4 sets) are in a nearly vertical posistion and bunched together.

Please someone explain what im doing wrong!

Thanks

Plant leaves pointing up is generally good, but this looks a bit extreme. Don't have answer, more guess.
Seems like either a dehydration response or over strong nutes.
You really need to check your ph, if you don't know your ph, you're flying blind.
And what are you using for water? A hard water might produce an effect like this.

They are at about 45degrees, I water when the soil is dry and no nutes yet.
Water is left out for well over 48 hours.
She seems to of opened back up a little, i did water about 5 hours ago.

Two of the leaf edge have gone a little yellow too, and new leaves growing out of the center seem a little yellowgreen.
Is that normal?

Thanks!:joint:

the yellow edges are not a good sign, may mean nute lock, bad ph could be the cause
water left out usually means tap water. tap water can work fine, it can also be a killer if its ph is extreme or it's too hard

ph test drops are the cheapest way to go, $5 or so
wait on the other things until you know your ph, once your clear on where ph is, you can do the next steps if you need to

Update.

I have transplanted her into a much bigger pot in the hope that she picks back up!
I think she is looking fairly strong, but still a very light green for some reason.

Looks like you got a better camera and your plant is looking niiice too!
I don't think you really have to worry about the lightness but you should get a pH test and tell me how well that works!
If it helps you figure out your problem then I am going out to get one for myself.
Looking good, keep growin!

yeah mate, got the better cam out, 10.8 m/p
I will invest in a p.h test kit, You think the colour is nothing to worry about? <That would be great!
I'l pm you and let you know the outcome

Thanks

you'll have to wait a bit for plant's to pick back up
transplant is a shock, but they will likely recover

Updates!

She 2 weeks old today! or from when she popped out of the soil.
Transplanted her to a big pot 4days and she is really getting big now!!!.

Comments and advise would be great!

smokey

definitely some improvement, at least now the leaves are back where they belong
can see the signs of nute burn/ph issues, leaves definitely were nipped pretty good
did you ever do a ph test on your water?

Yeah, she looking a lot better now!
What are the signs of nute burn and p.h level problems you can see? So i know them too.
No still havn't got 1, I take it you dont too?
When is the usual age/height of flowering?

In your last pic, those light tipped leaves I think are showing what was a ph issue. If it was nute burn, those tips would be crisped brown.
I do ph my water with ph drops, a lot cheaper than a meter and work real good.
Height/flower and age is a big question. Simple answer is you can start flowering any time you want, just shift lighting into 12/12 schedule. You can flower at any age, start seedling right at 12/12.
How tall is pretty strain dependent. In my case started 12/12 at 19 days old, 5 inches high. Plant looks like it will peak at 29 inches.
