First grow, water til runoff?

So, should I water next round to runoff or keep it like I have been. I'm aware that there is no definitive answer as we all know.

For shits, giggles and laughs, here's a 90lb 6 month old dane pup who is advertising for some free love. Take a minute. Let his modesty wash over you. Ha!

If you're using chemicals you want a little runoff each time to prevent salt built up.

Personally if I was gonna use chemicals I would use coco. I think it's crazy Fox Farms sells some decent soils, and then sells you chemical nutes. I think they want you to keep buying more soil.

Thats a fair assumption. Look with the help of this site I will find my groove in gardening. Much love.

Do you water to runoff during autoflower flowering stage? Pros & Cons? Thanks...
Watering correctly is the basis for all good growing. It can take a while to get the hang of it. Look, there's no simple answer to your question, anybody that gives you yes or no answer is full of shit. For example, if you let your soil get really dry between waterings, then suddenly dump a shit ton of water, you'll have almost instant runoff because the water is simply channeling out, but the plant isn't benefiting from it much, just as an example. So really we're talking about making sure you don't over water or under water. The manner that you apply the water has more effect than the quantity. I use a nice watering can that has a shower head spout, and I 'prime' the soil by just giving a light amount initially, letting it sit for a while, half hour or so, then I gradually apply more water, I have very little runoff and my plants look amazing. When I used to dump water more haphazardly, my plants looked like pure shit.

Remember, after watering you should clean the run off, and not let your pot sit on it. I now realize
I did that mistake and had problems in late flowering, I think I had nutrient lockout from salt build up. Remember to clean the run off.
