Im beginning the 4th week of flowering today. ive currently got my lady under a 150W HPS and i vegged under 6500k CFLs for about 3 weeks, i got the seed from a buddy who also has a medical garden, didnt tell me the strain just that it was a sativa?

I think you need to lower the HPS, they are severly stretching, what's the distance between the top of the largest plant and the hps bulb?

Also raise the smaller one up to the same level as the larger one.

the light is maybe 1 foot or so from the top of the plant, but it used to be further away until i moved it a bit closer. the hydroponics store i bought everything from told me that i needed to have the HPS at least like 2 FT away from the plant but that doesnt seem right to me, so i moved it closer. maybe thats why it didnt get very bushy. and thanks i will move the other one closer.

I just got done telling another fellow grower this: Shops don't HELP at all!!
The main reason they talk so much, is information they get from others mouths. They don't grow shit!!

And keep in mind that once the flowering starts the plant with double, sometimes triple in height. I would tie it down. Looks hella good man :D

Those who can, do. Those who cant, work in the hydro store.
LOL. its actually a funny story cuz when i went into the hydro store they were telling me not to listen to people on forums like this. But its obvious who knows what theyre talking about.

I got horrible advice from forums just as well, people trying to be interesting or just helpful...

Anyway, that 2 foot would have been close enough if it were a 600 watt hps bulb (20" if the plants can take it, and depending on ventilation). With 400 watt I use a distance of roughly 15-16inches. It's good to start higher for a day or two when you move (translamp?) them to HPS though.

And I agree with Ganjapussy, I'd tie it down - all over and across the space.
