G'day all;
I'm three weeks into my first ever grow.
I've only ever smoked a handful of times in my life, but it's always been enjoyable, so I decided to go all in and start an indoor grow.
The grow is closet based. Lighting is a 400 watt MH lamp, running 20/4 I plan to pick up a 400 watt HPS for flowering, when the time comes.
I only have one small vent to the attic in the grow, and the 400 watt lamp unacceptably heated the grow area, so I've installed a small evaporator coil in the closet and run the liquid and suction lines to a small condensing unit in the garage (5k btu). I'm an A/C tech by trade, so this seemed only natural.
Grew three plants from seed (Northern Lights from a seedbank ) under a florescent. About a week ago I switched to the MH. 4 days ago I transplanted to larger pots. Two plants seem to have taken well to this, one is a bit droopy. Not sure what that's about; thinking maybe I'm over-watering?
I think it's probably getting time to fertilize - still trying to find a good fertilizer that I can purchase locally from a big box store - I'm extremely leery to buy anything for the growroom over the net. Suggestions are welcome.
Also planning on moving my homebrewing caraboys into the growroom. The temperatures are a little warm, but okay, and the plants should enjoy the CO2 off put by the brewing process.
For your enjoyment, here are pics of my beauties:
