Hi BongKong, so you were asking about some advice on the OG Kush. So here's my slant on it.
Normally the OG Kush is a tall lanky stretchy girl that produces fairly average yields but the nugs are hard and are so worth the average yield that to me it is one of the best weeds around...period.
I am now topping less and just using super cropping and LST to create the multiple colas and main growth branches. I will always take several of the main branhces and generally just snap them over. When I say snap, pinch the stem or branch with you thumb and forefinger, squeeze it until you here the membrane break, then slowly bend the plant over...seriously unless you snap it comepltely off, this is pretty hard to fek up. In fact, the more you fek up, the more the plant pumps nutrients into the broken area. If you search for my journals there are pictures on this as well. So my advise is SUPER CROP as soon as you can. Do not listen to anyone saying you can't do it in flowering...you can do it whenever you want. I have super cropped 5 weeks into flower....no problems.
Once you have done the above (I normally do it so that all the plants are levellled of to the same height) you will then see all the bud sites at each node starting to grow upwards. These will all be cola's.
Do not foliar feed OG Kush. Try to keep your temps at a reasonable amount, and humidity also on a level...they are terrible for getting powdery mildew (PM) High heat can cause this so beware.
My OG Kush I always leave until the start of at least week 9 flowering before I go harikari on them. My feeding regime is simple, it's needs to be I am such a stoner at times...I use BioNova Grond (Ground) throughout veg and flower. 1/4 then 1/2 strength, until flower then full strength. Week 2 I start with BN PK 13+14 at 1/10th of the strength, then each week add a 1/10th until last feed which is normally 10ml per 100litres (sorry I am in Europe so metric.)
Anymore questions just holla.
Good luck with them.
