First Grow

You don’t have to water til run off the first time but I would have sprayed a good amount of water in the hole she’s goin into before transplanting and just water right at the stem area and around the hole made for her. Let her dry, then water til run off. That’s the way I’ve been doing it and I’ve run into no issues. Not even shock that I’ve noticed affect growth.
Ok, I did water pretty good right after transplanting but not until running off. I’ll let her dry out a couple days and give her a run off watering. Thanks

What lights have you got there, I am getting more lights next week and this looks exactly likey set up will be, sonenough room in that tent for the plants?

Ive never heard of anyone doing a dark period after transplant to let roots "settle" lol. Where did you read this?
I was reading a few articles on it but this one was epicgardening.com. Doesn’t seem to be a site dedicated to MJ cultivation but I was still curious none the less.

Maybe they were referring to doing the transplant right before lights out. I could see that being something that might help the plant not to suffer as much shock perhaps..

So I transplanted last Sunday and figured I’d upload some picks to my log. I only plan on flowering 2 of these so I have a pretty good idea which 2 will be the healthiest when that time comes. One of them seems like it probably won’t make it anyway. They popped up out of the soil on 10/10 so it’s been a little over a month. The weather is cooler here right now so it’s been though to keep the temps up in the tent. I’d say the average has been between 62 and 70. The humidity has been in the 40’s typically. I did take one of the fans out so now I’m running 1 fan that’s hanging at the top of the tent. I do run the fan and filter at all times so not sure if that’s an issue. Let me know if there’s any suggestions or thoughts.

First and foremost, big ups and appreciation to all the homies that commented and gave me guidance on this post. I truly appreciated it. I didn’t get a whole lot more feedback so I just kinda did my own thing for that last few months with the research and info I could obtain. At the end of the day these are the 2 plants I kept and are 3 weeks into flower. Everything has been stunted a bit because of the New England weather but with the warmer weather things have been moving right along. I’ve been LST and scrogged when I switched to flower. The question I have is do I continue to tuck the bud sites down or let her go? There about 2 feet tall now from floor to tops and I have a inline exhaust at the top of the tent. Appreciate any suggestions!

Correct me if I'm wrong but either some/all of your plants are hermies or they are still in veg. I'm seeing very few white pistils in these pictures. It's kinda hard to tell because these are all top pictures. You switched to a 12/12 light schedule right?

Maybe someone can chime in on the hermie look. I did flip to 12/12 around 3 weeks ago. They are feminized seeds. Maybe the pics aren’t that clear but I believe I do see pretty clear pistils coming in.

Looks like they recovered. They are probably still stretching so you'll have to keep an eye on them. You'll need to manage them as you have to account for not only the carbon filter and light but also adequate space between the light and tops.

Now only 2 more months to go until harvest!

I see slow transition into flower for 3 weeks, NoT herms. Looks good to me, keep an eye on your main colas stretching more and tuck em with the net or lightly bend over a bit to keep the canopy level. If they were stressed a lot in veg then I’d keep checking everyday for signs of herms. :joint:

I don’t think they were stressed too much during veg. The growth itself has been slow for the entire grow because of the low humidity during New England winters. I’ve just been keeping them healthy and letting them do their thing. Now that the weather has broke the humidity is steady in the 40’s so hopefully good from here on out. Thanks for all the feedback!

You can't blame slow growth on humidity. Plants will grow fine with low RH. GL finishing them up.
