Week 1 Vegging - Complete
Right plant is OG Kush I accidentally broke part of rootball during transplant.
Is it smaller than most plants? Or is it reforming a rootball? Ive been super gentle with it since transplant; re-inforced stem with some wire. Seems to be maybe reforming a root before shooting up again…

Yeah.. stunted growth. Luckily she will more than likely will rebound but it might take a few days.

- Took out old control board and relay boards/ now using a mechanical timer for lights and exhaust fan
- right plant (broke rootball by accident) is recovered and 1 week behind the left plant; healthy nonetheless

Today. Should I veg these for 8 weeks, or 6? Im beginning to think about height, both are indicas, and worried the height may double (max of 6ft).
Like later in the evening or day time when the lights come on? If this was just about lights off then I get it. But if the lights have been on a few hours and your leaves look like that you may have to start increasing your water distribution. They look a little thirsty. Also I suppose that's very dependent on how much room you have and how big your pots are.. be aware that during flower your plants will just about double in size. I did want to add.. 3 to 4 weeks in to veg and your plants should've used up all the nutes in the soil. By chance are you supplementing with fert?

Yeah, thank you for the advice. I will def buy nutes.
So I’ve got a bag of Dr Earth fertilizer, will that be ok? Or do you recommend something else?
My timer waters it for 15 seconds everyday at 4pm. I took the photo at 10am , and my schedule is ON: 10:30pm to 4:30pm. I hope that answers your question.

Okay.. couple things to note. First and foremost and this is pretty important. Those plants need more water.. those leaves shouldn't be drooping like that at 10am. Secondly I know this schedule has been working for you so far but it's always recommended to water right after your lights come on rather than right before lights off. This is especially important during flower as this watering schedule will increase the risk of mold by a lot. Also that's pretty good fert but you may want something a little higher in phosphorus and potassium during flower.

Key Updates
- Changed pump schedule to water my pots when lights come on so now it’s synced.
- I found out water wasnt being pumped due to fried solenoids (corrosion) ; blame it on the non stainless steel material. Luckily I was able to plumb the tubes directly to my pots from a Y adapter off my pump. That solves watering.
- After work today I made some nutrient tea using Dr. Earth 2-2-2 organic fertilizer, 2.5 gallons of water, and fed my outdoor garden and my plants. Hopefully it will give them some “boost” in food until I get some Dr Earth Flower Girl this weekend and re-feed.
- I’m thinking wait 7-8 days and re feed?
Heres the pump and its directly feeding the pots now:

Learned not to use solenoids lol in humid environment. Oh well, they lasted 8 months as prototype solenoids and did their thing for $5 each.
Below is a timer made for wet environments off Amazon; greatest investment as it lets you time a watering schedule from 1second and beyond. Other times had like minutes as lowest resolution!
Below is a shot taken now at around 10:30pm , after they were fed while in dark 6 hours ago.
I also watered them just now too, so they should be back on track and have plenty of nutes

I think you're doing an organic grow right? Regardless should feed about 2 to 3 times a week (ferts) depending on the kind you're using. These girls once you start flower are gonna be pigs and eat eat eat. So pay close attention to leaf AND stem color.

Yes to organic, and ok, most definitely will. I am on a tight budget so I don’t want to spend a pretty penny on fancy nutes. I’d like to keep it simple and I’ll put some organic top soil I have laying around thats walmart brand, and just ordered a 1lb bag of flower girl for $13 , and when it arrives I’ll be all set. I ordered a few re usable tea bags too, to make nute tea. I wonder if I can make 1 gallon of tea and use it without any mold or disease building inside of it if it sits in a closed one gallon jug. Happen to know if its easier to just use the solid fertilizer and work it in the soil? Or make a tea and have on hand to dose as liquid?
I have fox farm ocean forest and 3inches of happy frog as my medium in the pots for 1.5mo now, but thinking of mixing walmart organic soil (dont wanna spend $$$ on topsoil made by FFOF / on budget).
I can't answer that question for you as I use non organic liquid ferts. I'm sure you'll be fine with what you got.. but with solid ferts I think that's a question someone else should answer.
