they'll start stinking very soon. dont worru about that it'll come. aside from the stretching they look pretty good. they do seem a little behind for being 3 weeks in flower under a 400w hps. the ballast getting hot is normal. is that door completely sealed during dark...like no light leaking in whatsoever? what are you using for bloom nutes?

no. technically the plant is not "in flower" until you actually see it start to flower. sometimes that can be a week or two after you switch the light schedule. every plant is different. do you a microscope to check the trichs?

I counted from when i switched over to 12/12, isn't that the way you count?
Yes, it is.

Looks good guy, I'm surprised at the length of stem between nodes though, You usually only see that under CFL's.

Stink is relative to strain. Some strains stink from 3 inches on, some hardly smell at all. What strain is this?

i disagree. alot of the time, especially with a first time grow, the plant hasn't even reached sexual maturity before its switched to 12/12 you can't arbitrarily say that just because you changed your light schedule its flowering that day.

Yah the stretching is probably because I only used two 36'' flouros until about the first week after i went 12/12.

Are the flouos on the side helping anything, or can i save on electricity and pull them.

can anyone tell me about the bottom leaves really droopy and some seem to be dying. its in one of the pics.

I think that for plants in general it is common for them to lose the little stuff at the bottom as the trunks thicken.

good luck

if you're real new to growing, id suggest a cheap moisture meter also... alot of new grower's main mistakes are over/underwatering.... as far as the yellowing, are you feeding them? if so what/when/how are you feeding them? and some clear pictures wouldn't hurt either...

just went back and actually looked at all the pics... those yellowed out leaves on the very bottom are normal... it will drop off alot more by the time you finish flowering... as far as the rest of the plant.. they look a little depressed:cry:... whats your temps running in there?

the first night i had the 400w the temp hit a max of about 95:oops: i got my ventilation the next day. now temps are at a max of 82. low humidity also when light is on around 30.
