this sprouted yesterday, i put it straight into 12/12 to see how fast
i can make it flower, under 1 1300 fluerescent light. for now. in
a small container for now but is the stretch too much? the light is less then 3 in. away, and average heat is around 80

Is that a 1300 lumen light? If so you're going to need much more than than. It isn't too stretched but it will be if it doesn't get enough light.

Okay first thing is first you need to take your plants off the 12/12 cycle, you cant put your plant directly into budding they will either A grow a horrible yield B kill themselves with the weight or C not grow any buds at all. So please for the sake of your plant put your lights on 24/7. Second of all FL lighting will not work for budding you will need a metal hallide or preferably a HPS (high pressure sodium) lamp, but like i said in step one you cant bud yet so u need not worry about this. Get yourself a more powerfull FL light, 1300 lumes is not enough, marijuana plants will flourish vegitativly in roughly 2500 lumes of light per plant, and since this plant is more of less in the open alot of that 2500 lumes will be lost, but either way 1300 is way too low. Try to get a 30 or 40 watt FL light, they are cheap and can be picked up nicely at home depot. if your really serious about getting a yeild from this plant its gunna take time, patience is a big part of growing. as far as i can tell from your pictures it looks as though your using some type of soil ball? be easy on watering for the first couple weeks they have al they need to start growing in their seed give them a spray here and there at this point but be frugal. i myself grow hydroponicaly so i cant help too much with nutrients for your soil maybe someone else can post with you on that subject but youll really need to do the first two steps ive mentioned to get off on the right foot. Feel free to send me a message or repost here if u have any other questions i check regularly good luck!

thanks guys.

And yea, i have 2 of those lights, and several other cfls. roughly 8.
but 2 will be in use. and 24/7? damn, in my last thread i asked how to
keep the plant small, someone said put directly into 12/12 cycle, or
wait for 4 sets to send them to 12/12. 24/7 How much cost will that add?

Tomorrow I am buying a white ,cabinet for this. My desktop computer
is shot so there I have a power supply and fans. Hmm.

My question is how much $ will it cost estimatly with 40 watt running 24/7?
i live in an apt, and dont really want the bill to spike. Recently the power
company added 30% on to the cost, thats why im asking.

and I do 24/7 for how long?

edit

i used a peat pellet for it. and there is no way i can get a hold of a halide
bulb. im not living a lone n here. and i think my other is a snitch. heh trying
to keep low profile.

a 400 watt high pressure sodium light will spike the bill about 20$ a month so 40 watts will do about 2$ more per month in other words no one will ever notice, u can keep your plant on 24/7 as long as u like but the longer you do the better your yeild in budding stage will be thats just how it goes, also you will NEED a metal hillide or HPS light for budding, plants will bud very poorly if at all under FL lighting they need a diff spectrum during the budding stage

if u were trying 2 make ur plants stem shorter instead of getting all lengthy
u dont need 2 change the lighting 2 12/12 a day keep it 24/7 the reason the
plant gets lengthy lyke that is cuz ur lights 2 high above it so its growing a long
stem so it puts the leaves closer 2 the light just keep the light 2-4inchs above ur
plant n it will keep it a nice lil height.
