First Grow

This is my first grow. I do not know the type of seed but they are aquired from a close relative i would consider a "professional" in the area. I am growing them on floros right now, along with many other plants (edible ones, peppers, and other herbs). I just purchased a new bulb for the setup, its some grow bulb intended for plants with red light waves. They were on two natural sunshine bulbs. The large two have been going for about a week, the third is barely 2 days past hatching. It exploded from seed after i purchased a heat pad for my seedling tray. I am putting all my eggs in one basket hoping for a female group, atleast 1 or 2. My seeds were very slow to hatch. It took probably a week, then i decided to crack them manually and some others (including the smallest) are starting to emerge from teh soil. I have been using a miracle gro organic soil and just implemented some pearlite and 10-15-10 plant food today. Hopefully everything will work out with them, they are runnign 16/8 on light and i have a fan circulating air. They have attracted some what appear to be fruit flies which i will attempt to deal with with other means.

5 days later, They havent gotten much taller but the leaves have started to grow more. Moved them to larger pots (1 gal) and added a new light, a 100w equiv 6500k daylight CFL. Plan to add a second one soon as im sure they need it. They have quite a bit of stretch from early on, but i have moved the lights close to help stop that. The third one died, never looked quite right anyways... its fan leaves never appeared.

they look beautiful to me as well... :), you should try to get a bigger light fixture though, cfl r ok for vegatative growth but not so good for flowering, theyll produce weak spindly buds vs big fat buds

go to a hardware or electrical supply store, not a garden shop itl be way cheaper, you can get small ones for fairly cheap.

They are about amonth old now, and are under a HPS with a 150 equiv CFL for some blue light. Boy arent they pretty. Anyone have any idea what strain they might be? Not sure if they have any identifiable markings but they sure did start to smell early.

I have no idea what they are for a strain... they are whatever the grower i got them from grows.... he grows them outdoors normally, in a northern climate. So iw ould assume they are some strain that can adapt to t hat.

keep temp between 22-30 (no more than one spike of super heat per day) and humidity 45-60, thats what i do and they look fine exept the nute damage i gave them... GRR
