So I am getting ready for my first grow... I have almost everything to start growing.

I am worrried about my seeds because I bought medical cannabis seeds ( I have heard that they are easier to grow )

Should I buy other/better seeds or naah?

And is that true that medical cannabis seeds are easier to grow?

I will grow indoors/soil grow

I have watched a lot of growing videos and I have read a lot about growing, but still don't know very much.
I would appreciate if somebody could give me any "first grow" advice.

P.S. I have 3 seeds (Dance World) myb someone know something about these seeds?

I think a big tip for a beginner is to not over water. let the soil dry up before you add water. depending on your light you want to keep it close to the plant so it doesn't stretch up reaching for the light

You are fine. Medical seeds are awesome. Soil is very forgiving for new growers. make sure it is well draining by adding about 30 percent perlite or vermiculite to the soil mix. Follow Dutch Haze's golden advice above! Also make sure to go easy on nutrients when your plant is about three weeks or more old. Start at 1/4 strength and OBSERVE plant after feeding and again after plain watering. Also if you need advice we need to know your setup, gear, nutrients, soil, lights, etc.

medical seeds eh??? not sure what that's supposed to mean, lol. imo, weed seeds, are weed seeds! the medical part is pretty much unnecessary. certain strains help with specific ailments, and i guess that's where the medical part of the name comes in. some folks smoke specifically for the effects a strain has on combating the suffering their ailment inflicts on them, and not to get high...

So I will grow in small tent ( there is place for max 4 plants ), I have 4 cfl's ( 190watt, 2840 lumen, it is brighter and hotter than I tought, so I think I will use only one of these bulbs, is it ok?), I have ONE very quite fan, should I buy another fan or I can run with one?

I still haven't bought any nutrients and soil cuz I don't know what is the best to buy ( I still have some time till I can start growing)

Does the odor could be a big problem if I will grow 2 or 3 plants?
And what I could do with it if I grow as stealth as possible?

The plants will smell, be prepared for it. You can get a carbon filter for the tent. I don't use one so I can't help u much there. But if you open windows in that room you will smell it outside. And everything within 2 rooms distance in your house will smell if u don't get the filter

I still feel like a newb and somewhat am in some areas aftr 4 grows 3 outside and 1 in the first two mistake I learned the hard way like mentioned above is overwatering And over fertilizing when were new were are so anxious to get something to smoke on we grew ourselves we think a ton of water and nutes will take it from a seedling to giant buds over night as much as will tempt you take the advice above
this forum was very very helpful to me read ALL of the stickies and pay attention no matter how basic it may seem mj plants can be very sensitive
lastly google any question that pops in you head more than likely someone somewhere has asked the same question on this forum or another

Looks like I have found one of my problems - odor !

Ya, never underestimate the odor. It won't smell till about 3 weeks into flower. But it it powerful. I like the smell. If I was a bachelor and lived alone I would embrace it. But it can get on your clothes and stuff

I like the smell too, but as I said I have to grow very stealthy..

i use it in basement covers 90% smell with fan on low gal last 2 months
sure can't smell cat litter box's
you put rite in tent may cover up 100% not sure

No no no. Learn the difference between odor maskers and odor killers like carbon scrubbers. There is NO WAY around a carbon scrubber in your tent. All the airfreshner, plug ins, incense, and ONA Gel is not going to be able to cover the smell of a single plant, let alone 3-4! What size is your tent? That will tell you what size carbon filter to look at, Save your Ona Gel money for a carbon filter. Also I think you might consider a single plant grow with the amount of light and experience you have. No offense, but I dont know why newbs want to start a small crop as a first grow? One plant with adequate light in a large pot, will do much better than 4 starving for light. Soil is easy.... I use fox farm ocean forest (one bag per plant) or happy frog. Also buy some perlite to make it drain better. You could get into making your own super soil, but Im too lazy for that! Stay away from all the snake oil and get a good two part grow and bloom base nutrients, thats it! I use Iguana grow and bloom, as I do all organic grows in soil. Back to odor, the key to "stealth" indoor growing. I can smell a plant after it's vegging for only about three weeks. It is musty even in vegging, I don't know why people say smell doesn't start until flower? That is when my scrubber goes on 24/7. When flowering starts the smell will intensify as the weeks move on. When my carbon was incorrectly hooked up, I had someone smell it from outside my house (one plant 5 gallon late flowering)!!! Take no chances my friend get the best scrubber you can afford, skimp elsewhere.
