First Growbox EVAR! input plz?

Hey this is my first growbox or anything like this. ive never grown any type of plants before. i got hooked on growing through this website. marijuana is such an interesting plant. i just love it! haha. but anyways this is my first grow box and i was wondering if anyone could give some input or criticism for it. keep in mind im only going to be growing 1 plant at first. i ordered some auto flowers from attitude aswell as northernlight seeds. they havent arrived yet but i just wanted to max my growbox ahead of time for testing and hiding purposes only. i put a cup w/ soil in it to check temps and everything. but below are some pics of it. tell me what you think?

im not done w/ the white and i know its sloppy/ but my seeds wont get here for about a week so i have time to fix haha.

What watt are your lights? And it looks like you are using daylight and soft white mix bulbs. Any reason for mixing your light spectrum? Oh yeah paint the walls or put something on the walls. make sure you have something to catch your runoff water when you water you plants. That way moisture just doesn't go on your floor and you will get mold.

im using 2700k and 6500k CFLs. i just mixed them to see how many lights my outlets could hold with enough space. i know which bulbs to use in which stage. and for watts the 2700k are 13 watts and the 6500k are 13 watts. they are both 60 watt replacements

add your actual watts together and that will give you a total. do not use the equivalent watts just actual.

13 x 4 is 52 watts which isn't much. i used three 42 watt bulbs for my first grow. The key to the small bulbs is you need a bunch of them.

If the bulbs are the equivalent of 60w then why add 13 together? I have read allot that don't use anything under the 100w equivalent for lights. I use 7 100w cfls in my seedling room. I would give it a try if you run into stretching get them closer or bump up to the 100w bulbs.

i have 10 bulbs in all i can set them all up and they will all equal about 130 watts. im oonly growing 1 plant in my closet up to about a 1 1/2 feet tall. couldnt i just mix both day light and soft light bulbs? jsut for extra light?

you should put the lights on top of the plant instead of the sides itll be a pain when that bitch starts growing up and you need to keep adjusting and also when it grows to the side and touches the bulb. Get a piece of card board and cut it to fit the top------ then cut holes or attach the lights to it and get some sort of pulley system or tie strings to it so you can adjust the height-------and put the lights like an inch away from the top----when you start the plant have a lil see through humidity dome over the seed till it gets the first real leaf----cut a big hole in the front at least 3 ft high by 2 ft wide so you can take the plant out if you need to---- and some one said something about runoff trays very important your box is cardboard----- i learned the hard way lol

i actually mix up my light i have all the spectrums try to get at least the 26watt bulbs in ther tho ive noticed that under the daylight one the plants have wider leaves and under the bluish one they get thinner leaves so i just rotate them and they are all the same strain

ahh ok. yeah i was planning on positioning the bulbs so most were ontop but some were at the sides. i gues ill put all of em ontop

you can also just paint everything white-----it works better than foil------mylar is the best but its your first grow youll fuck shit up lol start waisting money you second or third grow------get a fan at big lots

you can put bulbs on the sides so that you bottem nodes get light but the most important in the top you shuld also look up LST your box looks small

for my seedlings i use a tamlite 18 watt each bulb only have 4 bulbs and these work realy well for my babies cost me £40 from grow shop best money i have spent good luck with your grow looks good

sweet. thanks for the input widdow. i personally think i have enough bulbs if i use them all correctly to grow a healthy plant. but its always good to get a second opinion. or third. haha

sweet bro hope all goes well for u im thinking of doing some auto flower in my baby cupboard as they only grow 14 " just wanna see what they come out like some of them are 8 weeks start to finish only get half oz or one but its quick and looks good anyway hope all goes well take care widdow
